Chapter 27: Heartless

Y/n's POV:

"Jiminie, can we stop by the library before we go to lunch?" I asked

"Of course." he smiled

We walked into the library, I need to find some books about bone structure for my science project.

"What exactly are you looking for? I'll help you." he asked

"Try finding books about bone structure, please." I said

"Alright." he left to find some

I couldn't find any in the row I was in, I sighed then moved to the next row of books. But then I heard the voice of Jimin... and a girl? I peeked around the corner, I saw Jimin talking to a girl.

"I don't have time to talk right now." Jimin sighed

"But Jimin, I like you... a lot." the girl told him

"Well I don't, and I never will." he glared at her, "I would never like a girl like you."

"B-But..." she stuttered

"Besides, I have a girlfriend already. I love her a lot." he then saw me peeking from the corner, "Speaking of my girlfriend, she's right there."

I had no choice but to walk up to him, his arms were wide open for me. I hugged him and he hugged back. Sorry girl, Jimin's mine. The girl started crying, I felt kind of bad. Jimin didn't seem phased at all.

"You're so heartless!" the girl cried then ran away

"My girlfriend says the opposite." Jimin scoffed

"You have a big heart." I giggled

"Yeah..." he chuckled softly

"Anyways, did you find- oh look, right there!" I pointed to the shelf next to us

"That was convenient." he laughed

"It was, wasn't it?" I laughed too

"Is that the only book you need?" he asked

"Yeah, this should be fine." I smiled then walked over to the book checkout area

I put the book in my backpack then we walked outside of the library, I suddenly got hit by a backpack. I fell onto Jimin and we fell down together. Ouch, what the fuck was that?

"What the fuck is your problem?" I yelled at the person who threw the backpack

"You're stealing Jimin Oppa from me! Stay away from him!" a girl yelled

"He belongs to me!" the other girl added

Jimin helped me to stand back up, he then wrapped his arms around me. He glared at the girls.

"I don't belong to anybody except Y/n." Jimin said, "Y/n is my girlfriend. The truth hurts, doesn't it?"

Jimin then looked at me, he checked if I was okay.

"I swear, I will beat all of you up. Come here-" I cut him off

"Jimin, don't." I told him, "They aren't worth it."

"But babe-" I put a finger over his lips

"Nope." I giggled

"Fine, you two are off the hook only because Y/n says I can't." he sighed

We walked away from the two girls, I then turned to Jimin.

"You'd really beat up a girl?" I asked

"Yes, especially if they hurt you." he replied

"Not much of a gentleman, hm?" I raised a brow, "You are heartless."

"Hey, I have a heart for you tho." he frowned

"Yeah, but you should have a heart for other people too." I sighed

Jimin's POV:

Is she mad at me? I think she is... what do I do? She isn't looking at me...

"I love you." I told her

"Mhm." she replied

"You're not going to say it back?" I asked

She didn't reply, I grabbed her hand and we stopped walking.

"Are you mad at me?" I mumbled sadly

"Yes." she glared at me

"I'm sorry." I pouted

"Uh huh." she scoffed

"Please... I really am." my eyes started watering

"You're very heartless, even I can agree." she told me

A tear accidentally fell from my eye, I wiped it away quickly. Y/n noticed right away, her attitude changed right away.

"Hey, hey, don't cry!" Y/n hugged me

"Y-You were mad at me..." I mumbled

"I know, but don't cry!" she pecked my cheek, "I don't like it when you cry."

"And I don't like it when you're mad at me." I said

"I'm sorry too." she frowned, "I love you."

"I love you too." I smiled

"Don't get mad at me like that anymore, okay?" I pouted, "Heartless and Y/n don't go well together."

"Aww, I won't." she ruffled my hair

"Let me buy you pocky." I smiled

"Fine, but we're sharing." she laughed

"Of course." I laughed too
