dylan o'brien and isabelle ryder took the world by storm when rumours of their relationship began last year, and their fans only became more obsessively supportive when they confirmed their relationship after months of speculation.
just a few weeks ago, the pair were celebrating their one year anniversary. however, rumours of a split between them began to bubble when fans noticed the pair's inactivity on social media, when previously they have been very active and open about their relationship. ryder is especially known for her regular activity on instagram and plenty of fan interactions on twitter. nothing was set in stone until fans spotted that ryder and o'brien had unfollowed each other on instagram. ryder does still follow o'brien's teen wolf co-stars, such as tyler posey, shelley hennig, holland roden and more. o'brien has also unfollowed ryder's brother, jameson ryder, on the platform.
o'brien is currently filming season five of teen wolf, and ryder is about to embark on her first world tour. therefore, it is likely to be that their busy schedules contributed to the breakup. perhaps nothing was as perfect as it seemed to the public eye. the couple had been spotted many times in public together, and have also attended large events as a couple.
many fans are mourning the ending of a relationship they so adore, while others have targeted isabelle ryder, claiming that she has 'used' o'brien to her advantage. although it is unknown whether this matter is true or false, her rise to fame has conveniently coincided with the year of their relationship.
the pair have yet to speak out about their split and issue statements, but it is pretty much confirmed that dylabelle is no more and they are in fact in splitsville.

AUTHOR'S NOTE. yikes i'm already sad. this was just a lil introductory chapter to establish their breakup and stuff. honestly i think this is worse than something bad happening between them because THEY LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH but are too scared to try long distance because they don't want to see their relationship get strained. it's so DAMN SAD but it's fine. we're fine. it's OKAY. we LIKE PAIN. kind of. sort of. maybe. okay actually no. lol anyways bye! - alisha <3
