Ep. 09

Sehun's POV:

I have been calling Lina but then I noticed that she left her phone at room. She said that she will come back after sometime but now it's already dusk. Suddenly someone opened the door. "Where were you? And why didn't you took your phone?", I asked Lina. She didn't replied. Her eyes are telling that she cried for a long time. I hope she didn't met Mark...

*Flashback*

"We have to attend a seminar in Shanghai tomorrow. I think you got the invitation", Chanyeol hyung said. I nodded. "Shall we catch the morning flight?", I asked him. He remained quiet for sometime & then nodded. We agreed & he went back to his room. "Oh Sehun...", someone called me. I looked at my right side & saw Mark approaching me. "What are you doing here?", I asked him. He sighed. "I'm on vacation. By the way where is my girlfriend? I mean your wife, Mrs. Lina" "Why do you need her?" "Seriously! You snatched my girlfriend from me & now you are asking why do I need her!" "She doesn't like you so you better stay away from her" "You think so? Fine. Then let's see who does & doesn't she like". I glared at him went to the room. He really ruined my mood now.

*End of flashback*

"Lina...", I called her softly. She didn't reply rather got up & started packing her bag. I kept starring at her back. "I wanted to tell you something" , I said. "Go ahead", she replied. I was thinking to ask her that if she met Mark or not. There was an awkward silence for some moments. "I said go-ahead. I can hear you", she said with a cold tone. "You sleep on the bed today. I will sleep on the couch" "It's okay... Thanks. You sleep on the bed" "Are you angry with me or something?" "No.. I'm not angry with you...". She paused. "I'm angry at myself", she said & sighed. I wanted to leave her alone for sometime. I know she wants to cry but can't in front of me. So I left the room quietly.

*After 1-2 hours*

I came back after walking at the garden. It was very cold. When I went near the bed, I saw she's sleeping peacefully. I kissed her forehead & lay down beside her. It's hard for me to sleep on the couch cause it's too much small for me. Anyways, I didn't wanted to wake her up but she moved a bit that made me scare. She cuddled up to me & wrapped her arm around my waist & put her head on my arm. I also hugged her & kissed her cheek. I promise, I'll never ever let anyone to hurt her.

*Next morning*

Lina's POV:

I set up & yawned for some moments. When did I fell asleep on the bed. Sehun came out of the washroom while drying his hair with a towel. "You are awake already?", he asked. It's 6 now & usually I don't wake up before 8. "Yes but why did you wake up so early?", I asked. He didn't reply. I went to the washroom.

*After sometime*

I came out & saw Sehun got ready already though we have our flight at 11. He's wearing a black shirt with grey vest & pant. Just like a gentleman. "Why did you get ready so early? We still have time", I asked with widen eyes. Before he could answer, someone knocked at the door. Is it even a time to come? Seriously? I went to open the door & got shocked by seeing Chanyeol oppa standing at the door. "Oppa?", I asked with widen eyes. "Oh, did I disturb you? Is Sehun ready?", he asked. I nodded. "Give me some time, hyung. I will be in the lobby in a few minutes", Sehun said. "Okay fine... Come fast", oppa said & left. I closed the door. "Can you please explain me what's going on? Where are you guys going?", I asked & crossed my arms. "We are going to a seminar in Shanghai", he replied. "Oh! You could tell me this earlier. By the way, when will you come back?" "About a month later" "Oh... I see". I kept standing there by facing downwards & leaning against the wall. He cupped my face & lift it. Suddenly his lips met with mine leading it to a soft kiss. I could feel my cheeks burning. My heart started beating so fast that anyone can hear it I guess. Finally, he cut the kiss & rested his forehead on mine. "I will miss you... Take care", he said & left. I still couldn't believe what happened just now. I covered my face with my palm in embarrassment. Though I can't deny the fact that I'm gonna miss him too. Wait! Why am I thinking all these? Am I falling in love with him?

*At night*

The house looks totally empty. It's only me in this whole house. I was about to go to my room but suddenly I heard a sharp sound. I got scared but tried to ignore it. But I heard it again. I followed it & arrived at kitchen, noticing a kitten scratching the window. I let out a sigh & it kept meowing after seeing me. I opened the window & let it in. The weather is a bit cold today. May be it came here because of the weather. It jumped off the window & started clinging to my leg. At least I'm not alone anymore. I took it in my lap & pat on it. It made a *purrr* sound in pleasure. It's covered with mud. I took it to washroom & gave it a warm bath. I wasn't feeling lonely anymore. After the bath, I realized it's a white male cat. He's very cute. I sat on my room's couch with a bowl of milk & fed him with a spoon. He's still very small so he can't eat by himself. "Kitty~ I should give you a nice name since I'm greatful that you're accompanying me", I said & pat his head. He meowed in reply. "So from now on I will call you Leo. Is it okay?", I asked. He meowed. At least, he liked his name. I let Leo sleep beside me on the bed. But I was feeling lonely for no reason. Soon the night passed away with my little kitty Leo.
