"Derek, come back!" Stiles shouted as he ran towards the werewolf, tears running down his face and falling to the ground. He wasn't going to give up until he reached Derek. Nothing had been the same since he came to town.

As Stiles looked ahead as he ran, he found the werewolf had disappeared. He stopped and looked around. "Derek, please, come back," he said, more tears falling. As he felt arms wrap around him, he stiffened, feeling them pull him into a hard, warm chest. He heard a low growl that made him stop breathing.

The man move closer to the younger boy, right beside his ear, and smiled. "I'll never leave you, Stiles." Derek said as he held him in his arms.

Stiles closed his eyes, relaxing into Derek's chest. He let a light smile dance across his face. "Thanks for coming back," he whispered.

The man smiled. "I'll always be here for you, Stiles," he said in a low voice which made Stiles shiver. He turned, keeping his eyes closed as he leaned up, giving Derek a kiss. When he opened his eyes, he saw Scott.

"Stiles, what in the world were you doing?" Scott asked, staring at him as if he were a freak.

Stiles jumped up and backed away from Scott. "I was having a dream, that's all. What are you doing in my bed?" He asked, shooting Scott a questionable look.

"Was it another dream about Lydia?" Scott asked with a smirk on his face. "And I came here because you didn't answer your phone," Scott said, looking at Stiles with a smile as he stood up. "We're gonna be late for school!" He said with a sudden realization, and rushed out the bedroom door.

"O-Ok.....?"Stiles said, hopping out of bed. He walked to his closet whilst pulling off his shirt to get changed. He stepped on something, making a crunching sound beneath his foot, which he then lifted to reveal a leaf. "What is a leaf doing in here?" He asked himself, taking a step back. What if it wasn't a dream, he thought to himself as a blush creeped it's way to his cheeks.

As he stepped away from the closet, red t-shirt in his hand, he rushed to pull it on. Stiles looked around on the floor until he found a pair of black pants, putting them on and walking out of the room while buttoning them. He walked down the hall and greeted Scott again as they walked out the front door to the Jeep, getting in. He laughed as Scott beat on the window, asking Stiles to unlock the door and let him in. He unlocked it and Scott hopped in with an aggitated huff.

"Let's get to school, okay, Stiles?" Scott said, pointing ahead with annoyance in his voice as he saw Stiles with a smug look on his face from the action. Stiles nodded as he staeted the car and headed down the street towards the school.

As they drove down the road, the school came into view, He pulled in, parking the car in the first available space. He slipped out, slinging his bag over his shoulder and scanning the area surrounding the parking lot, eyes locking on Derek as he froze in place. He turned away quickly fearing a blush would appear.

His heart fluttered in his chest when he saw him, and now it was aching to look back towards Derek. When he finally got the courage to look again, Derek was gone. He wanted to yell out for him to come back, but he just looked away again. His heart was aching in his chest, yearning for Derek to wrap his arms around him to protect him and make everything seem better.

As he walked towards the school, he realized Scott had vanished to find Allison, leaving him alone to think, not noticing that Derek had reappeared beside a tree. Derek stared at the young boy in the red shirt, letting a smile form on his face as the boy disapeared into the school. After a minute, Derek stood up straight, letting his nails lenghten as he dug them into the tree and walked around it, causing marks to appear. He took off suddenly and disappeared into the forest.
