Chapter 3

Pov Jade

Bella came home around nine o'clock and had told us about the dinner Tyler had took her to. He seemed nice enough. He looks sort of like Beck. Except his eyes were green and his hair was kept neater than Becks. Itd be impossible for them to be related. Beck has been in jail since we were in highschool. I went upstairs to tell the boys to go to bed, only to find them asleep on the floor. I picked them up and put them into bed. I was really missing all of the important things when it comes to my kids. Work is just so stressful and I don't want them to ever have to struggle. I've been putting money aside since each was born, for college and life. Bella already has enough to go to any college she wants and the boys are so close to having that too. If anything ever happens then we are prepared for it. Tori hates that i'm always at work. I'm just trying to make sure my family is set. After puting the boys to bed, I said goodnight to Bella and headed to mine and Tori's bedroom. She was sitting in front of her vanity mirror, taking off her makeup. She was wearing a pair of black sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt. I got changed into just boxers and a sports bra, I didn't like wearing too many clothes to bed. Once I was done, Tori had climbed into bed and was reading a book. It was our nightly routine. We didn't talk a lot at night, just enjoyed each others company. I got into bed and laid on my back and played on my phone. This would go on for an hour before Tori turned off the lamp and put her book away and curled up with her head on my chest. After an hour, we both fell asleep.

"Jade, please help me." I heard my wife's voice echoing through the dark woods. She sounded scared.

"Tori! Where are you?" I yelled but, to my dismay, my wife's voice wasn't the next i heard.

"Mom!" Bella's voice came. A manic laugh followed my daughter's cry.

"Shh Bella. I won't hurt you." I knew that voice. It was her boyfriend's voice.

Suddenly, I was out of the woods and in a white room. There was kill written on the walls and the fluorescent lights made the bright walls seem like they were shinning. I spun around at the sound of a footsteps behind me. I stared at my daughter, sitting on the ground in front of Tyler and Beck. Beck gave Tyler a gun.

"Kill her, son." My eyes widened and I tried to say no and run forward but my voice was gone and i ran into a clear barrier. Tyler pointed the gun at Bella...

I woke with a start, sitting up quickly. I looked around at my bedroom. My wife was sleeping soundly next to me. I got up, making sure not to wake Tori, and went to Bella's room. She was laying, unharmed, in her bed. I let out a sigh of relief and went back to my bedroom. I climbed back into bed and fell asleep, my mind clear this time.

Pov Bella

I woke up at six-thirty, as usual. It was a Friday and the day of my party. I was so excited. I got up and put on a pair of short shorts and a yellow t shirt, which I tied to make a crop top. I brushed through my tangled hair and curled it. The outfit was completed by combat boots. I went downstairs and was greeted by my moms, talking in the kitchen. I stopped in my tracks when I heard what they were talking about.

"I think her boyfriend is Beck's son." My mom, Jade, said. I called Jade mom and Tori Momma, in order to keep things simple.

"That's impossible, Jade. Beck's been in jail since we were in highschool." Beck rung a bell and then I remembered. That was the name of Tyler's dad. Why was it such a big deal? I know he just got out of jail but he seemed like a nice guy. Maybe they had a bad relationship in highschool.

"He looks like him Tori. I had a dream about them last night." I rolled my eyes, I knew my momma did too.

"You can't rely on dreams. Your just protective." I decided to enter the kitchen and pretend I heard nothing.

"Morning guys!" I said as i entered the kitchen.

"Good morning." Momma said and gave me a plate of eggs and bacon.

"Morning." Mom said, grumpily.

"Thank you momma. I'm going to eat and then leave. I'm meeting Tyler for coffee." I said and momma said ok but mom gave me a look. I walked off and sat at the table. I scrolled through my phone and ate. When I finished, I put my plate in the sink and said bye to everyone and left. I was meeting Tyler at a little coffee shop a block away from school. When I got there, he was leaning against his car playing on his phone. I went up to him and kissed him on the cheek. He smiled at me.

"Morning babe. How are you?" He asked.

"I'm good. What about you?" He smiled at me. His smile was so handsome.

"I'm good. Lets go in and order." We linked hands and walked in. I order a carmel cappuccino and he ordered a vanilla coffee. We sat at a table near a window. "So, what time should I be at your party tonight?" He asked and took a drink of his coffee.

"Probably around five. I think you'll love my dress i'm wearing." He hummed when I said this.

"I love everything you wear." He was so sweet and it made me happy. He never was rude and didn't just care about my body. Sure, we make out and all that but he respects im not ready for that next step and doesn't try to push it.

When we finished our drinks, we got into our separate cars and drove to the school. I got out and was greeted by my group of friends. Tyler came over and held my hand as we walked to our group. Hannah, Kyle, Greg, Brayden, and Alex had been my friends since we were born. Lily, Nicole and Tyler joined our group in kindergarten. We were very close. They had a band together and we were the groupies, basically.

"Who wants to drive over to Bella's party tonight?" Hannah asked. They had decided to carpool.

"Well we can go together. On our way over we could pick up Greg and Lily." Kyle said and the others agreed. Kyle and Hannah were siblings. Their mom, Cat, had been friends with my moms. Greg's dad was Robbie. Lily's parents had became friends with my moms once we had met. My moms got along with my friends parents well.

"I could get Brayden, Alex and Nicole. You guys are on my way over." Tyler said. They all seemed happy with the plan. Brayden and Alex were Andre's sons and Nicole was in the same boat as Lily. "There, nobody has to go out of their way and Bella wont have ten cars in her driveway." We all laughed. We got to our first class. We had this really weird teacher, Sikowitz, but he was cool. We had regular classes like math and science but our other classes were arts classes. Sikowitz taught acting.

I sat down in the front row and thought about how excited I was for tonight.
