The girl who got betrayed

I once remember too long ago
My mother told me that's how I know
She told me a stort of the happiest girl
She was unique just like a pink pearl
She had many friends always around her
To her more like a family they were
One of them though was very precious
Of their love everyone was jealous
But she treasured her more than anyone
Together with her she wanted to have fun
But it was her fault that she left her all alone
Such kind of betrayal that she had shown
If only she'd listened to her that night
She couldn't changed the ending quite right
Who knows what and why it had happened
Thousand scenarios she had imagined
Though none of them made any sense
The grief of her loss was quite immense
Let's meet that's all she had said
A farewell that was instead
If only that's all she could ever say
She begged her not to leave please stay
In a moment she lost all her glow forever
And became the loneliest girl to have lived ever
You could call it fate or curse or whatsoever
It was meant for her to lose her friend, her treasure
Mother would always tell me how mean the girl was
I don't think so Mother and then there was a pause
Why dear? She did not care for her friend at all
Anyone if were to face such a problem would do that
She only couldn't understand her; made a mistake, very small
When her friend didn't tell her how could've she known
Her friend was at fault for guessing the problem on her own
Maybe she just wanted her to cry for once; maybe she's the one
She tried hurting her when about her glowing smile nothing could be done
Maybe she was afraid of losing to her own friend's smile
Even though she knew her friend's heart was so fragile
She knew still she backstabbed her one and only friend
Maybe that's how her friend wanted it to end
That's the only scenario that can fit in
What did she do, committed a deadly sin
Mother I know how it feels too
And I know that so do you
Cause we both got betrayed
But don't worry, don't be afraid
During my life I got to know one thing for sure
That there's only one person with whom you feel secure
Your only friend can be your mother
She smells like the breeze of summer
Mother I love you and will never leave you
So please with love, the same thing you do too
