Okay, so I follow her out of the bathroom and to her locker, and Rylee has left. Great.

"Now, let's put the note back into his locker this time," she slides the note gracefully into a slot in his locker. I look at her like she is insane, which she is...

"What?" She asked, looking confused.

"Thinking back on that note, it was a bad idea. I knew it wasn't a good idea to let you help me with this," I shake my head and start walking away and she says,

"Wait, okay I'll get the note out of his locker!" I turn towards her, a hand on my hip.

"And how do you suppose you are going to do that?" I ask. She looks smug.

"I may or may not have memorized his locker combination," she giggles and turns to his locker. In about three seconds she gets his locker open. I am utterly impressed right now. Seriously. When she opens the door, EVERYTHING avalanches out in a huge heap on the ground, not to mention the loud noise that comes with it.

"C-R-A-P," she spells out. We rush to pick everything up, but can't find the note in his entire locker. Where did it go? The bell rings for people to come back from lunch so we shove everything in his locker and we run. Well, at least I run. I go to my locker, and she gets to stay there. SO not fair.

I get to my locker and right as I do Rylee comes up to me.

"Where did you go dude? I was waiting for you! And, why are you panting?" He asks me as I open up my locker. Oh, right I was running. Time for another lie...

"I was," I pause, "in the gym, and then," another pause, "I ran up here so that I could get here in time," I look at him, and he doesn't seem convinced.

"Ooookkaaaayyy....," he says. He's totally judging me right now. He leans up against the locker next to mine and sighs a really deep, long sigh.

"So, I haven't heard anything much from the love life of Samuel Allen Pasaiib lately. Waz new?" He asked, putting emphasis on the 's' in was, making it sound like waz. I role my eyes.

"Nothing much," I shrug, and he looks at me all weird.

"What?" I ask, returning the look at him.

"Oh, come on! There's always something going on in your love life. What, don't tell me you are going all homo on me again, are you?" He glares at me.

"Never again, my friend," oh, my, gosh, I will never forget that one time when I dated a girl. It was awful. Nancy was so snotty I don't even get how it was possible. Anyways, he is still glaring at me.

"I'm serious dude, nothing is happening right now. Nobody just screams 'awesomeness' at me at this moment," other than him of course. But I can't tell him that...

"I don't think this has ever happened!" He cups his hands around his mouth and says, "Mark the date! Sam doesn't have a crush!" we both start laughing. Oh, why can't he just be gay? Life would be so much easier..

"Hey, do you want to go to the frozen yogurt place down the street after school today, to redeem ourselves from the neatly food choices we were given?" I ask.

"Sure, as long as it's not like a date or anything. I wouldn't want you secretly hitting on me," he past my back and walks away. Ugh. Under my breath I mumble,

"Nope, you wouldn't want that," at least it's froyo. The next class I have is Tech Ed, with Mr. Weeiser. Hey, at least Jessica's there, maybe I can invite her to froyo too, maybe then she can help me with getting Rylee to like me, but it will make Rylee think that I'm not trying to suggest anything...

I walk into the computer lab and Jessica is right there, as usual. I decide to sit next to her today.

"Jessica," I say. She looks at me and smiles.

"So? Did he read the note?"

"I have no idea but that's not what I came to you to talk about anyways. I invited Rylee to a lunch redemption after school and I was wondering if you could come. You know, help me out but make him think that it's not a date?" She looks at me and smiles so big I think her face is going to snap on half.

"You are good!" She winks at me and turns back to her friend.
