"Ugh," I groan. I stretched my arms and legs, groaning again. This fucking mattress sucks. I looked over my shoulder to my alarm clock, the bright red lights glared at me with attention. It was 8:00 am.
Time to shower and get ready for the day. Do you ever have this feeling where you just know it's going to be a long day?

After my shower, I get dressed in my Diner uniform. A stripped skirt and red crop top. I top the outfit off with my white converse and gold jewelry.
After getting dressed, I grab a banana and my car keys, but before exiting the small apartment I lived in, I shoved the banana in my mouth before I have to drive.
I never understood anyone who can drive and do other things at the same time. I simply couldn't.
On the way there, I listen to music on full blast in the car, and arrive at work. Traffic was crazy like always.
I guess what a con about working in the city. I walk in the diner dancing, having a song stuck in my head. As I walk in, I get stares from people.
Seeing a figure near the cash register, I immediately recognized Maggie and I run up to her; hugging her so tight. She hugs me back in return. We pull back and I smile "I missed you!" I gleamed and hug her again. I Can't believe she's here.
