What the fuck. alright its been a while since ive wrote a rant but over the past few months ive noticed there are pages and stories popping up as "promoted" for movies and shit. THIS. IS. A. WRITING. SITE. now before you jump on my ass about this im not calling out fanfictions in any way, shape, or form, only the goddamn movie pages.
I get it, you're probably doing it to attract more people to go see said movie or something but really? What relevance dose it have to stories? And what even most only have like a single book like "lol watch my movie cause these reveiws are 5/5 yo" and shit.
Also something that really bothers me, i dont care if you want to like... reply to someone to help answer a question they have thats not DIRECTLY aimed at me (or rather just the author of something, though im doing this from personal experiance) but then theres the people that sit there and reply to EVERY comment like they own the story. These kinda people really tick me off to the point where i want to block everyon who does it.
Dont even get me started on people who message you and comment "i like your story check out mine?" like stop. STOP. if i wanted to read it i would have and you obviously could care less about the quality of it, just the viewers. I admit to sometimes checking out stories but its rare i will and not worth your time asking me to.
Now im gonna get a bunch of shit thrown at me for this i just know it but one direction fans need to stop. This site has like NO stories anymore because everyones writing their crack ship, mary sue X band member fucking fanfictions. So many people dont even tag one direction in the title like as like [One direction fanfic] or whatever and i cant even tell you how many times i was attracted to a cover then really pissed when it was a pairing of "Harry styles totally falling for me" or something. Just stop. There is literally a site out there for your fucking one direction fics only take it there and please, god for bid, stop with the one direction.
What even is wattpads "recommended" anyway? Like wattpad what are you doing since when does something like "The little furry neko mouse shark baby doll girl" have any relevance to a story about like A couple being seperated by say like, massive birds or something idk. Just what the hell its like saying a rock and an egg are the same thing because theyre both round.
