Chapter 10

3 months later

Y/n POV

It's been 3 months since everyone faded away. It's been hard without Peter. Steve tried comforting me but it hasn't worked really but I got exciting news. Turns out that Mr. Stark and Pepper are having a baby too. Peter would have been thrilled to see a little Stark running around. I get closer to my due date everyday, everyday I cry because he won't be able to see his baby. I woke up like any other day. I got out of bed, showered, changed into different clothes and walked down the hallway to the kitchen.

"How are you doing today" Nat asked

"I could be better if I found out where my dad was"

"I know we're trying. Will let you know as soon as we know something"

"Ya I guess"

I was getting orange juice when I got a sharp pain in my stomach. I put the Orange Juice on the counter, put my hand on my belly, and took deep breaths. Steve must have seen me.

"Y/n are you ok" he asked putting a hand on my back

"Ya it's just a contraction"

"When did they start"

"Around 5 this morning"

"How far apart"

"35 minutes"

"How long are they"

"Around 45 seconds"

"Do you need anything"

"Can you get me a cup of orange juice? I need to sit down." I said walking away from the counter.

"Here let me help you," Steve said, coming over and assisting me to the couch. I sat down carefully next to Nat.

"Y/n are you ok"

"Ya I just need to sit down for a bit"

"Here lay down" Nat said, getting up, grabbing a pillow and putting it on the arm rest. Steve helped me lay down while Nat ran and grabbed a blanket. I held his hand.

"Look you don't have to be here Steve"

"I'll stay. I mean it's the least I could do for Peter and I'm doing it for my best friend"

"Thanks" I said

"I'll be right back with your orange juice"

"Thanks Steve"

I closed my eyes and fell asleep. All the happy memories started coming to me.
