I was a Queen. He was a God. I was a temptress. He was a saint. The world revolved around me. He was my world. But it didn't start like this, and neither did it end like this.
"Hold my hand!" The little boy said with an earnest smile. He then whisked away the girl next to him grabbing her small hand. She only responded with a wide grin as they dashed down the hill. It was late spring and the flowers were in full blossom, and the birds were chirping. The wind slapped their faces, while the sun beat down on them.
"Anne, I'm glad that I met you." The boy said as he led her to a shaded tree.
"I'm glad I met you as well Azi! Now please let go of my hand."
"No I like your hand, and why are you blushing Anne?'
"I am not." The girl had replied while covering her face.
"Don't do that, I like your face."
"Are you oblivious to what you're saying!"
But the boy had no chance to respond to her question, as a hand reached down and tore the two apart. Anne had looked up, and saw a man with long white robes and his face seemed to be clouded. Or that possibly could be her faded memory as that day was long ago.
"Azai! You are not allowed to be around this human. You're well aware of this rule not coming along." The man had said as he pulled Azai into his arms.
"No, don't go Azi!" The little girl had cried.
"I have no choice."
Those were the last words Anne had ever heard from Azai, or Azi had she had called him. It was not until much later in her life that she realized why she was not allowed to be around Azai. She had just thought of it as mindless fun, but when someone had as high of as social ranking as Azai Solis it wasn't possible.
