Chapter 7- We Need Water

Kinley's POV

*3 days later*

"Wake up princess." Carls voice said as I felt a kiss on my forehead.
I opened my eyes to see Carl right infront of me smiling.
I smiled.

"We're gonna walk from here." Carl said.
I nodded and sat up.
We were the only ones in the car.
"Where's everyone else?" I asked grabbing my backpack.
"There walking a little up there but slow." Carl said.

I sighed.
"I'm tired." I said as we got out of the car.
"I'll carry you when you get super tired." Carl said intertwining our hands.
I smiled as we continued walking.

We catched up with the group.
I was so thirsty right now you don't even know.
My throat was so dry.
We haven't had water in like 2 days.

*2 hours later*

We stopped and sat on the side of the road.
Carl was sitting with his legs out and I was laying down on my back with my head on his lap.
"We need water." Daryl said.
We all agreed.
Some of us went to find water.

(I can't remember what happened in the episode D:)

Me and Carl decided to stay there.
I was so tired and thirsty.

*1 hour later*

They came back and found nothing.
We all sat there in silence.
I heard dogs bark and we turned around.
There was like 10 dogs standing there barking but not moving.

I smiled because 1 I haven't seen an animal in years and 2 because I'm an animal lover.
I heard a gun shot and I shut my eyes and screamed silently when I heard them cry.

I opened my eyes to see them on the ground dead.
I turned too see Sasha with her gun pointed at them.
We all stared in shock.
Daryl and Rick freakin skinned them and we ate them.
I couldn't and didn't.

"You have to eat something." Maggie said.
I shook my head.
"Just don't think about it." She said.
I couldn't do that.
I would end up crying or puking.

"You have to Kinley, you'll starve." Carl said.
"I can't Carl." I whispered shaking my head.
"For me, please. I can't loose you." Carl said.
"Carl I- don't know." I said shaking my head and closed my eyes.

"Just close your eyes and think about something else." Carl said.
I nodded and kept my eyes closed as I opened my hand.
I felt something placed in my hand.
It was warm. I did what Carl said, I thought about us.

I quickly ate the piece with my eyes closed. After I swallowed, I opened my eyes.
"That's all you have to eat." Carl said.
I sighed nodding.
I laid down on my back and laid my head on Carls lap.
I sighed.

"Just go to sleep princess." Carl whispered.
I smiled and closed my eyes.
I fell asleep.

*1 hour later*

I felt tons of trickles on me.
I opened my eyes and squealed when water went in them.
"It's raining!" Carl said smiling.
I smiled and stood up.
I opened my mouth to the sky.
Well we all did.

Daryl and Maggie just stood there.
Michonne was crying tears of joy.
Rick was on the ground with his hands cupped into a bowl and his mouth was opened.

Rosita and Tara were on there backs laughing.
Me and Carl were standing beside each other looking up to the sky with our mouths open.

Carl was holding Judith and covered her with a blanket.
We all just sat there enjoying the rain.
It lightening making us all jump.
It started pouring and thundering.
"Let's move!" Rick said as we started walking fast.
"There's a barn!" Daryl said as we walked into the woods.

We all basically ran to the barn.
When we made it, a couple of people checked the barn for walkers.
Maggie found 1 that starved herself to death.

We went in and it was dark.
Maggie found some lanterns and turned them on.
Most of us fell asleep.
Carl laid against a wall with Me wrapped in his arms.
Judith was asleep too but he laid her down on a blanket beside us.
She fell asleep in his arms before that.

I closed my eyes and listened to there conversation.
Rick talked about his grandfather.
"Because this is how we survive." Rick said.
I smiled.
"and We Are The Walking Dead." Rick finished.
Whoa.

It was silence until Daryl said something.
"We ain't them." Daryl said.
It was another quick silence.
"No we ain't them." Rick said.
I fell asleep.

I woke up to thunder and lightning.
I sat up and Carl did too.
Everyone was at the door pushing on it.
I got up quickly and ran to the door pushing on it.
Carl did too.

We all pushed on it hard as walkers were trying to get it.
I don't even know what happened after that.
All I know is that I ended up falling asleep in Carls arms.

I'm probably going to try to update right after the next episode because I forgot there lines and stuff.
