"𝗦𝗼, 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁?!" Dakota leaned her phone against her fridge as she fried bacons, and FaceTimed Xolo.

"What? It better be good, D. I'm not gonna sit for another hour of you being 'down bad' over a white boy." Xolo complained.

Dakota sighed. "No, Xo. I promise you, it's something better."

Xolo rolled his eyes and continued eating his bowl of cereal.

"Basically; apart from me simping for young Robert Pattinson, I got a role in a new show!" Dakota smiled.

"No way! What show?!" Xolo got up from his seat, bringing his arms up to his head.

Dakota paused for a moment. "I can't really remember, but I do start training in a two weeks, and in less than a month, we'll start shooting."

Xolo frowned. His schedule seemed pretty similar as Dakota's.

"I'm not really a big fan of the plot, but it sounds like it'll be a big hit."

The tan boy nodded his head, slowly taking his seat. "Well, what's the plot?"

"Some kids fighting using karate. I really need to watch The Karate Kid movies to catch up." She shrugged, turning her stove off and transferring her cooked bacons onto a clean plate.

He looked at her through his phone in disbelief. "Dakota! You're in Cobra Kai! I'm in that show!"

The younger girl squinted her eyes, attempting to recall her memory.

"I do not remember you being in a karate show. Please elaborate."

"It's been two months since that show first aired, and I was begging you to watch it! You then mocked me, going 'Oh my God, Xo. Just because you're in it doesn't mean it's good.'"

Right behind Xolo, a small figure appeared. "BOOM! Shots fired!" Jackson yelled as he burst out, laughing.

Jackson approached the offended Xolo, putting his face right in front of the camera. "Maybe you do make valid points sometimes."

Dakota cackled as Xolo looked much more offended than before.

"Whatever, man. I'm just deadly afraid of meeting the cast." Dakota sat on her sofa. "Why?"

"I don't know! Everyone's so professional and then there's me. It's the thought of meeting the cast that makes me very anxious." She played with the hem of her shirt.

Xolo felt sympathy for his step-sister. She would normally call him for therapy sessions, and at times, her anxiety was described as literal hell.

With that, Xolo came up with an idea. A brilliant one.

"Why don't you just meet everyone on the first day of training, so then, you have time to brace yourself, and enough time to get to know them better?" Xolo suggested.
