"Take that crotch-demon"

Runa lay on his stomach, the sound of a clicking controller surrounding the room. He was kicking some major booty in Moral Koombat. The eyebags and sunset slowly beginning to shine into his darkened home indicated he had pulled an all nighter once again. The buzzing of his phone had interrupted his winning streak, causing him to squint and curse. He stumbled to his feet and rushed over to his desk.

'Future Step-Son'

He chuckled at the contact name before answering the call, "what bitch?" "Why haven't you been answering my texts?!" Runa pulled the phone away from his ear, wincing and tsking from the screeching voice of Hobin. "Geez, I was in the middle of a winning streak. What happened?" A groan could be heard over the speaker, making the blonde arch a brow. "J-Just come over to my house, it's important. I already texted you my address." Before he could reply, Hobin had already hung up the phone. "Yah! You shithead!" Grumbling underneath his breath, he sighed and ran a hand through his hair as he stared at the paused game. "So much for my winning streak."

"I should smack the grin off your stupid face."

Runa stood in the entrance of Hobin's home, sporting a pair of black slides, gym shorts, and tank top full of holes and god knows what kind of stains. He wasn't one to care much about his appearance, unless there was a cute boy involved. And Hobin, was in fact not his type. Bitch got sibling-zoned the moment they established each other as friends. "By the way, I only live down the street", he continued and walked into the home, slipping his shoes off at the door. Hobin didn't know whether to be happy about what the blonde had just informed him or to be scared. "Why do you have Kimchi on the floor?"

And that's where the story of how Snapper and Hobin's viral video began, the two not knowing that it was only the beginning of their team of idiots.

Currently, Hobin's eye twitch had returned back as he watched the tall blonde sob and laugh on the floor of his home. "Y-You smacked him with kimchi! I-I can't- BWAHAHA!!" "Yah! He was disrespecting my mom!" Runa had finally calmed down from his laughing fit, his voice now hoarse. "I'm proud of you for actually standing up for yourself Hobi, don't get me wrong. But it doesn't help your case at school." "What do I have to lose? I was already labeled as a loser." A small smile twitched onto his lips as he stared up at his shrugging friend. "You're right, but hey- losers together, right?" The two grinned at each other and high fived one another. Runa began to tie up his hair in a low ponytail, helping his friend clean up his kimchi ridden living room. "So you'll be getting ten million won? That's pretty cool, but the only catch is actually getting Snapper's greedy ass to share the profit."

"That's where you come in", the brunette stated with a smug smirk. "Oh? Already selling my pretty body out, huh?", Runa puckered his lips and tucked his hair behind his ears. Hobin cringed, making the blonde gasp in return. Dodging a rag, he continued to reply, "not in that way, just a bit of threatening is all. I-I mean if you don't mind that is!" Hobin had completely forgotten that he had only known this boy for a day and yet here he was, already talking to him as though they had known each other for years. And little did he know, that had made Runa's heart flutter. He was never good at making friends and seeing how someone could be so comfortable with him made him soar in happiness.

By the time the two had finished cleaning, lunch time was just rolling around the corner. "Ah, I'm sorry. I made you miss our first lesson."
"Meh, it's all good. Skipping one day isn't going to kill me, besides, I'll just tag along with you for the rest of the day", the blonde replied. 'Besides the old man..yikes.' The two young boys were sprawled out on the newly cleaned floor, the fan blowing upon them at it's highest setting. "Are you sure? I'll be taking a trip down to the hospital soon", the brunette replied, a concerned expression displayed along his face. Runa cringed in reply. He'd definitely have to make it a priority to avoid the old man.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you're buying me ice cream afterwards, Chump."

Author's Note: Super short chapter, but I needed to get it out asap!! Wattpad's system is down so I won't be able to properly write until it gets back to working. I luckily already had this draft pre-written. It just needed a few tweaks here and there.
I will be adding onto this chapter once Wattpad is fixed!! Please note to look out for that! Lost Farewells will have to wait a bit longer to be updated,, since that has much more detail involved within the storyline.
Also, apologies for the long ass wait 😔
