Falling

Flying towards the huge white building, wondering why everything here is white. On the way I spot another angel standing on the cloud in front of the huge white building. Bending my knees and contracting my grey wings, I touch my feet to the ground, standing straight. A female lands next to me and staggers, needing my assistance to gain her balance. I hold the door open for her and the next angel, a guy this time, and walk in behind them. Counting myself, there are only seven of us here. I slowly scan the so-far little group of angels. Knowing that once the others get here there is a chance we might not get off the hook this time, I lean against one of the walls. Another one of the angels walk in and I cant help but stare. She was tall, slim with long, black hair and pure white wings. She turns in my direction and I look away, hoping she didnt notice I was staring. I hear her walking in my direction and turn to look at her again. A light blush finds it's way onto my face when she smiles, her blue eyes twinkling in the glow from the ceiling. She giggles, her voice the most beautiful I've ever heard. Standing up straight, I smile. She clears her throat and says delightfully "Hi, Im Cloie. What's your name?" Mind whirling, I try to form a sentence in my mind. Finally gathering words into a sentence I open my mouth to speak. Though there is a sound escaping my mouth it isn't the one I was hoping for. Stammering, I quickly close my mouth, heat rushing to my cheeks. Finding whatever it is in me I need to speak I open my mouth and finally say, "Hello there, Cloie. Beautiful name you got there. Im Frost. Some people call me Frosty, though." I smile nervously, letting a giggling sound leave my mouth. Cloie laughs, making me smile at the sound of her happy voice. I hear the door open and look to see who entered. It was two angels, a male and female. Seeing that the female angel is clinging to the male, I study their appearances. The guy was tall and muscular, brown eyes, brown hair. When he looks over in my direction he scans Cloie, nodding with some type of approval. The girl that seems to be suffocating his arm isn't short, but at the same time isn't tall. She was at average height for the look of her young age, blonde hair, sky blue eyes. When she sees the other guy nod, she glares at Cloie. The cold, hard stare she was giving gave me chills up my spine, forcing me to look at the door again. As soon as my gaze is away from the two, the door opens. Stepping in from the open space, were three more, all female. One was tall and slim like Cloie, except with blonde hair, same blue eyes. Does Cloie have a sister? Though that made me wonder I let my gaze fall from her. I look at another, seeing that she was short, slim with strawberry blonde hair, beige eyes. Turning to the next I see that she was average height, brown hair, brown eyes. My gaze shifts back to the other guy that walked into the compound, who had the same facial features, eye and hair color. Leaning against the wall again, I look at Cloie, who was scanning the other angels. I do the same, and including me there were only thirteen of us here. I jump when the large white doors crash inwards with a loud BANG and my head snaps into the direction of the noise. On the ground, there is a laughing angel and another which is just laying there, no movement coming from the body. The laughing one stands and looks down at the other guy laying there on the ground. "Dude you alright?" he asks. There was no response from the one on the ground. "Jake are you okay?" he asks again, with more enthusiasm and worry this time. I see the lifeless one's hand twitch and hold in a laugh, realizing that Jake is pulling a prank on his buddy. "Okay man it isn't funny anymore. Get up!" The guy was shouting now, and his head shifts in my direction. He storms over. "You think this is funny?! Huh!?!" after he is done screaming that in my face I laugh, hunching over and falling onto the ground. Before I can start rolling I feel a heel slam down into my side. Growling, I grab his ankle and stand, ripping it off the ground and slamming him into the ground, crashing my foot into his chest. He gasps, not expecting me to be so fast. Smiling, I lift my foot again to ram my foot into his skull when Jake punches me in the face. I stagger, returning the punch with more power. His head snaps to the left, and there is a cracking sound. His eyes widen and he falls. "You little -" "Enough!" a loud voice erupts, and all the others who were watching turn to look at where it came from while I do the same. Looking in that direction, I see a tall figure standing in the dust, - which was still clearing out - and pick up the fallen angel (no pun intended). He groans, and the other guy stands, looking in the direction of the other person as well. Emerging from the dust and other particles in the air is another angel, his body looking like he was on steroids when he died and somehow still sneaked into heaven. I laughed a little, looking at his large grey wings, which are a little lighter than mine. I know that this time my wings will go a shade darker, turning black and laugh louder, slamming the guy that's in my hand into the ground again. I sigh when the other guy that just came from the smoke expand his wings completely. He starts walking towards me and I tilt my head, looking him in the eyes, "Hmm?" He raises his hand and cups it as if it were to go around my neck, instinct kicks in and I blast up into the air from one good swing of my wings. I look down at the guy, seeing a slightly shocked expression on his face but it goes firm in about three seconds. I look at Cloie, who's face showed fear of me. I close my eyes, take a few deep breaths to calm down, and slowly land, my wings contacting. I ignore everyone around me including the guy that thought he had charge who was shouting at me to look at him, my cold eyes keeping focus on the ground as I make my way to the back corner of the large building. I'm just walking, thinking, my legs moving on their own with the fear of loosing what could've been a good friend in the future. Once I reach the corner I stay facing the corner, sitting down. I hear footsteps quickly coming up from behind me and turn to look, seeing Cloie. I close my eyes, shake my head, and turn to the corner again. She sits behind me and puts a hand on one of my shoulders, lightly massaging it, "Frost, that was...scary, and your wings are darker." I sigh, laying back slightly into her, shaking in her arms. "I didn't want to do it, I swear." She sighs, resting her chin on the top of my head. I hear heavier footsteps firmly come up from behind us and think they're that one guy who had to make an appearance but when i look it's not that guy, it's our coordinator. "Stand up." He firmly orders us. We both stand, and he looks at Cloie, "Go over there, with your sister." She nods, walking to the group of three that walked with the one that looked like her, the muscle guy, and the girl that was clinging to him. The coordinator looks at me, giving me a look of anger. I stare back at him with cold, emotionless eyes, "I know. I'm being separated from the group and put into another area." The coordinator's face changes, a smile becoming upon it. "No, you're staying with this group, and..you're leading it." I almost shout, but decide to keep my voice low. "What?" "You heard me." I shake my head, "No, I think I misheard you." A few "Tsk" sounds escape his mouth and he says it again, a little louder so everyone can hear. "I said you're leading this group. Was that loud enough for ya?"A few muffled chuckles raise from the other angels, as well as a few grunts and sees a few shakes of disapproval. I shake my head, then slowly nod. "Y-yes sir." My voice was slow and hesitant, as if I thought if I said the wrong thing he'd slap the shit out of me. He looks towards the other angels and asks, "Any complaints or objections before I professionally establish him the leader in writing?" Nobody moves, except for one guy, who steps up. "Yes, i have an objection! Did you see what this guy just did to those two and how he almost got into another fight with Merrick?!?" I tremble slightly when the coordinator glances at me but is surprised when he answers, "Yes, I saw the whole thing. That's exactly why I'm setting him up as the leader. He obviously has the power to lead and protect this flock." I sigh with relief at the fact that I wasn't being punished but I thought too soon. The coordinator raises his voice a little, saying, "Even though he was assigned the leader and will be directing you all, he has a punishment for the damage he has caused to this building and Jacob, as well as Jack. He is not to eat but supply for you all and do every single one of your every commands, as he will only be allowed to have two bottles of water a day." My eyes stay the way they are, widened.
