we got out the car, walked up the front door and I sighed of happiness. "you exited?!!" lila says walking up to me.
"yeah" I smiled
"ok come on!! your parents and rory miss you" luna says ringing the door bell

the door slowly opened and my mother showed up. she smiled brightly as I did the same. (We're gonna be French because we're boujee like that 💅🏾)

"mon bébé!" ("my baby!") my mother said running up too me with her hands opened for us to hug.

I hugged her. "mom!! i've missed you so much" I started tearing up but I wiped my tear away on her shoulder.

"don't cry ma chérie, we're here together again. as a family." (don't cry sweetie, we're here together again. as a family.") she said in her beautiful French accent. (you, your sister, and dad don't have it tho)

she pulled off the hug,"okay let's go inside. your dad and sister have been extremely excited to see you again. come, come!" she pulled me inside.

I walked inside and looked around the house. I haven't been here in a while. I thought. mom locked the door after lila and luna got inside. I heard footsteps and humming coming downstairs. it's aurora!!

she looked up from her phone and looked towards the front door and ended up seeing me. her smile grew as mine did too.

"JULES" she screamed

"can you get any louder?" I joked as I put my suitcases down and hugged her.

"I've missed you so much" Rory said

"chill, we were just in LA together like a month ago" I joked, again lol

"anyway!!" she pulled away, "I hit 50 million on TikTok this morning!!"

"holy shit sis. almost at 100 million. proud of you" I rubbed her hair making it look like a mess

"I hate you" she said fixing her hair

"no you don't" I said as I got my stuff and walked upstairs my room to put my stuff away and change clothes. I just put on some shorts and a white tee.

I ran downstairs and went into the kitchen.

"lila and luna left?" I asked getting a fry from a Chick Fil A bag

"yes ma'am" rory said

"rory tell about your life!! we haven't seen each other in a while" I said sitting next to her

"oh? but we just seen each other a month ago?" she joked

"oh shut up" I laugh, "c'mon! tell me!"

"well I have nothing much to say but" she said turning to face me. "I hit 50 mil, I made some new TikTok friends, got some shit to do with my manager in like 2 weeks in LA, and... that's it"

"hmm." I furrowed my brows

"what?" she asked

"no new boys?" I teased

"um... no. but YOU do. tell me about him." she said taking a sip of her coffee next to her

"who?" I said

"oh come on. mattia! what's going on with you too?" she teased

"wow. you're the first one that didn't say vinnie" I laughed

"oh yeah him too" she said weakly

"what? what's wrong with him?" I asked

"nothing. I don't know- I just- I don't trust him."

"oh.." I said. "well, it's getting dark and I'm getting tired to guess what loser? I'm going to sleep" I teased as I ran upstairs

"GOODNIGHT!" rory screamed from downstairs

"NIGHT!" I screamed back. I walked into my parent's room before going to sleep to wish them a goodnight.

I knocked on the door and heard a "come in!" from my mother. I walked in and I seen her washing her face.

"where's dad?" I asked not seeing him in sight.

my mother sighed. "i.. i don't know." she seen my face get sad "BUT, he will come back soon babe." she said to cheer me up.

I smiled a little and walked up to her. "I'm going to sleep. goodnight"

she kissed my forehead, "goodnight baby. I love you" she said

i smiled, "I love you too" and left.

i went into my room and got into bed. I checked all my socials and watched tiktoks until vinnie texted me
