chapter 19

I arrived at the hype house and knocked on the door. i see the person I haven't seen in a while. we automatically hugged. after we let go, we started into each other's eyes.

do i still like him? after what he did, I never looked at him the same. plus, I've been having some feelings for mattia lately.. I thought.

he started leaning in and as soon as our lips were gonna connect, I rejected the kiss. he looked at me in confusion. i heard dixie coming to the door, "vinnie who's tha-" she ended up seeing me and hugged me right away.

thank god she interrupted the most awkward thing that just happened.

we let go and went inside. vinnie slightly closed the door after we were all in the house.

"alright guys let's go help jules with her stuff in her car" dixie says after I've hugged everyone.

we all started going back outside to help me get some of my stuff. vinnie stayed back. not sure why.

DIXIE'S POV:

I started walking towards the door after everyone was already outside. I seen vinnie leaning on the kitchen table with his hands on his face

"hey.. gonna come help?" I asked him

"uh.. yeah, ima just go to the bathroom real quick." he responded in such a quiet voice sort of.

I shrugged it off and went outside.

VINNIE'S POV:

I walk upstairs to my room to go into the bathroom. I looked in my mirror and started questioning myself.

what'd I do? does she hate me? why'd she reject my kiss? it's probably that fucker mattia. is it cause of emily? I thought.

speaking of emily, I got a call from her, I turned it off. she called again, I turned it off. she did it again and I turned it off. she called AGAIN so I decided to answer her call.

"what" I snapped

"I've missed you" she whines

"that sucks" I laugh

"I've missed you. your kisses, your eyes, body, and overall... your love." she said before ending the call.

what? I was just being a bitch to her- no. this is what she does. she hurts you, apologizes, and hurts you again. don't fall for it- but, jules would never say what emily just said right now ?. No. No. stop it Vincent.

I shook my head to release all my stress and headed downstairs to help with bags.

as I left my room, I seen the door next to my room open. thats an empty room? oh right, jules' new room, dumbass. I started going down the stairs. I went outside and seen jules get the last bag but I run up to her and grabbed it from her.

"finally you're here vinnie" she laughs

"very funny" i playfully rolled my eyes. we went inside and headed upstairs to put the last bag in her room.

jules and I stared at the empty room filled with boxes. I put my arm around her and sigh.

"what're you gonna decorate it like?" I ask

she didn't say anything.

I shook her back and forth, "hm?" I hummed

"oh, sorry I kinda blacked out" she laughs, "BUT" she says as she lets go of my arm to walk around her room. "I was planning on putting tons of posters and leafs, some LED lights ?" she turned around to look at me with a 'not sure' look.
