It had been nearly a whole day since your encounter with Kylo Ren. Since then, you had been released from your restraints with a blaster held to your back by a stormtrooper, only to drink, eat a measly meal of bread and a bland soup, and to use the lavatory. You now lay on your back, desperately trying to entertain your thoughts. You wiggle your hands, uncomfortable, exhausted, and angry. How long was he going to keep you here like this? Your internal clock tells you that it's sometime after midnight, judging by the absence of the hustle and bustle aboard what you assume to be the Finalizer. Then you hear it. Loud, quick, commanding footsteps growing closer to the room. Your heart drops. You listen to the faint beep of identity affirmation on the other side of the door, before watching the red circle above the door turn green. The doors slide open with a hiss, and the commander emerges, taller and broader than you remember him. There were so many things you wanted to scream at him, but didn't dare. Your throat still burned from the impact of his grip from the previous night.
"I hope your time in isolation has made you rethink telling me what you know." Purrs the low voice. He wastes no time taking off his helmet, knowing that his attractive features intimidate you much more than the metallic mask. He approaches you again, towering over you. His chest is so broad that he always appears to be puffing it out when he isn't.
"I've already told you what I know." You mutter, avoiding his gaze.
"No." He states, still looking intensely at you. "You know where she's hiding. Tell me her location, and I will let you go."
You are careful to watch your thoughts as not to give anything away. You strategize your situation. Avoiding his questions and remaining calm was what you needed to do. You take a deep breath, and give him a small smile.
"What, I'm not good enough for you, commander?" You smile sweetly, tilting your head. He blinks, clearly not expecting that response. Pride bubbles in your chest, leaving you more confident. "What's in it for me if I tell you?" You continue to smile at him, which clearly puts him off.
"Do not play games with me, girl." He growls. "Your life is what's in it for you."
"Mm, no. I think my life is worth more to you than me, considering I have valuable information that you can't get anywhere else."
His eyes burn with anger, his red lips curling back in a snarl. He approaches you, and towers over your prone form, so close that his broad chest touches yours.
"You will regret those words coming out your lips." Hw murmurs. You flinch at his proximity, but also his hushed tone. Even though he is angry, he never raises his voice. He reaches out his hand, his forearm flexing in preparation. Your eyes grow wide, remembering the agonizing pain of him wracking your brain for information.
"Wait!" You call out, trying to remain calm and not desperate.
"I'll-ill make a deal with you" you stutter, shifting uncomfortably in your restraints.
"I'll tell you what I know if...if you let me out. Please." You add, looking up at him, keeping your thoughts honest and true. He considers this for a long moment before turning his back, displaying taut muscles even through his shirt. He presses the button that releases all of your iron chains and restraints, letting them dangle. It feels like heaven. You immediately try to stand, but you become extremely dizzy: white spots clouding your vision and giving you a brief stinging headache. You touch your fingers to your head and wince a little, before extending your arms, stretching them until they tremble. You squat down and back up, giving your legs a shake. You twist your back to the side as it pops and releases tension. You let out a sigh, trying not to think about how terrifying what you were about to do was.
"Now tell me" comes the rumbling voice of the commander.
"Where is the girl?"
Your stomach drops as you quickly think of what yo do.
"Well..." you breathe shakily, trying to hide your thoughts and come up with a plan at the same time.
"She's..." you face the window, taking a big breath.
"Way over in that direction." You eye the table a few feet away from you, displaying Kylo Rens resting lightsaber,
You point to the window, "that planet over there." He looks, focused for a moment. This was your only chance. You leap over to the table, grab the hilt of the lightsaber, adrenaline pumping through you, and run for your life through the open doors. You don't know where you'll go, but you ignite the saber as you run, your new form of defense. Unfortunately, you don't have much time to plan your escape route. Moments after you sprinted away, two large hands grab your waist, lifting you straight off the ground, your legs kicking furiously. You let out a cry of frustration and fear, managing to kick him hard enough to where he drops you. You spin around and swing the lightsaber toward him, surprised at how heavy it is, and how hot the hilt was. Maybe that was why he wore gloves. The dark lord looks almost amused as you bravely point the crackling red saber at him as a threat.
"Girls like you shouldn't be playing with weapons" he almost looks like he is about to laugh. You frown and hold your ground, knowing that running is futile now.
"Give it to me." He warns, simply holding out his hand. "You don't know how to use that." He chides.
You shake your head, widen your stance, and swing it at his chest. The world is a blur as you are knocked of your feet, the saber flies out of your hands, and your back is slammed into the solid chest of commander Ren. He snaps his arms around you: one right below your neck, and the other around your waist, securing your body tightly to his. You feel his muscular form pressed against you, and you swallow, terrified at what was about to happen. The crackling lightsaber is now held near your throat. It is so close that you can smell your strands of hair beginning to burn.
"You deserve to die, right here, right mow." Comes the furious whisper right in your ear, You cannot see his face, but you know that he is leaning down just to talk close to your ear. Your heart drops.
"You are of no use to me. You are too much of a pest for the small amount of information you have to offer me."
You watch your flyaway strands of hair ignite and turn black in front of your eyes, the heat radiating off of the saber, making you sweat.
"I'll cut my losses with you, and still find the girl, and skywalker. All you have done is waste my time and test my patience." His voice is a husky growl in your ear. You knew he was right. He would kill you, and still find Rey. You feel his body tighten against your back as you struggle slightly.
"No..." you whisper, realizing that you would not live to see what awful fate awaited your dearest friend when this monster found her.
"Mm, yes." Comes the smooth whisper, so close to your ear, his lips were neatly touching it.
You squeeze your eyes shut, ready for pain, ready for death as he brings the saber steadily closer to your heart. Tears spill out of your eyes. Your heart is pounding so hard you can't heat anything else.
"Please no!" You beg, tears uncontrollably spilling out of your eyes.
"Please please don't, please!!" You plead, desperate for any miracle. Suddenly, just as the tip is about to sink into your chest, he stops. Your breath hitches in your throat.
"You think you can still be useful to me?" He utters, his breath sending shivers down your spine. Joy sprouts up through your chest. You nod vigorously. You had to stay alive for Rey.
Deafening silence follows, as you breathe out heavily.
"Alright, good."
The saber disengages, sliding back into its hilt. His grip around you loosens.
"You will indeed be of good use to me then." His voice is now a smooth purr. Your body trembles with relief and dread.
"Tell me where she is" he demands in your ear, his voice hauntingly alluring.
"And don't lie. I know when you are. This is your last chance."
Your heart sinks as you close your eyes,
"They would have flown her out to our next secret rebel base by now, on the planet Jallea." You relay to him gravely. "That's all I know." You finish, hating yourself for exposing the next best kept secret of the republic.
"Good girl/" praises Kylo Ren, his hands becoming looser around your body, giving you space to breathe. Tears prick at your eyes.
"Now...you promised that you would let me go if I told you." You try to sound stern, but even you can tell that your voice is shaky and scared.
"Oh no, pet. That was before you decided to defy and disrespect me. You're not going anywhere." Kylo Ren murmurs softly in your ear, his dark curls tickling your cheeks, his breath making your neck warm.
"You will continue to be useful to me..." his hands slide possessively down your waist, and to your hips, gripping them tightly as he pulls them back into his. Your stomach plummets in realization as you feel something solid and stiff poking into your thigh.
"Whore." He hisses darkly. Your heart flips, and you spin around.
"WHA-?" Your cry is cut short, because you are grabbed roughly by the waist, and tossed into the air, landing over his tall shoulders. Your upper body hangs down his back as he begins to walk quickly, making you dizzy. You scream and pound your fists against his back. His arm secures your legs to his chest. You protest furiously as you are walked through the Finalizer, slung over the commanders shoulder. He carried you as if you were an umbrella over his shoulder. Lightweight and unimportant. He showed no strain in maintaining a swift pace with your head dangling down his back. Kylo Ren ignored your demands and cries. Your world tilted. What was he doing? Had you heard that last word right? Where was he taking you?
Your last question was soon answered for you as you saw the double doors that you were being carried to. Two troopers stood at attention, there were many locks and the grand doors were upheld with dozens of security measures. You break into a cold sweat as you realize that you are being carried through the doors to Kylo Rens quarters.
