It was a cloudy day, perfect to stay at home for a nice family dinner. Akihana's house wasn't big but it was pretty cozy due to the whole dynasty's efforts: solid walls, two bedrooms and a nice view from the window. It was drizzling and tiny droplets were scattered across every surface: leaves, glass, stone and so on...
- Yuki, Y/n, I'm home! - a tall, well-built man entered the house and took his boots off. He put his bag on the floor and hung up his jacket, exhaling softly. His h/c hair were a bit messy and there were some raindrops in thick locks, which sparkled a bit under the light of a lamp.- I've cooked a dinner! - a young girl, almost a child, greeted the newcomer. - How was your day, dad? -.
- Nothing much... Some rough stuff with the principal but I've made it. - Akihana-senior patted his daughter's head and looked at the door of his bedroom. - Where's Yukine? -.- She's still working... - Y/n shrugged, avoiding connecting glances with her father. - Mom said they'll pay her twice more for extra hours. -. E/c eyes were not shimmering like they used to.
- I hope she comes soon. Don't feel guilty, Y/n, you do help us out! - he kisses the girl's forehead and gives her an exhausted, yet sincere and warm hug...
- What a touching scene, Tensei. I'm almost impressed. - a harsh voice startled the Akihanas and named man hid his daughter behind his back.- What do you need, Akaiha? - Tensei frowned and clenched his only child's hand a bit harder in his own palm. The man's heart began beating way faster than before: as the head of the family, the teacher needed to protect his relatives.
- Forgotten already? The debt you owe to our clan. Shall I name the whole amount of stuff you would have to repay with something really worthy? - Akaiha let out something resembling a chuckle and Y/n felt chills running up her spine. She stood silently, trying not to make the matters worse...
- Then... What if I do not repay it in several days? - Tensei exhaled shakily, wiping the cold sweat off his forehead. He tried to stand strong but the fear was stronger... On the inside definitely, on the outside there was a fight between bravery and fright.
- You'd become an eternal slave of Kiribana clan, your wife'd please everyone of our subordinates on daily basis and your pretty daughter... She would have the honor to become a plaything of mine and my brothers. - Kiribana laughed and squinted his eyes. - How's the perspective? -.
- I wouldn't let you and your henchmen do this to my family, you, piece of- - the head of Akihana clan spoke up but he was interrupted by a strong punch right in his face. Y/n noticed some blood splashing out of her father's nose and she let out a terrified scream, struggling to support Tensei.
- If you want your debts to be forgotten and forgiven, marry that babe off to Kuroiha-san. He likes sweet fragile flowers like this one! We give you one night to decide, Tensei. - Kiribana burst out laughing even louder. - See ya tomorrow! -.
s l a mThe intruder left the house as quickly as he entered it.

She looked in the mirror and swallowed a huge lump in her throat. Y/n was on the verge of crying but she promised herself not to spoil anything. She was afraid of failures because it could bring harm to her family and there was no escape...
"That's definitely not what I've been reading about... But, at least, I look bearable... I hope"
Plain dark-red kimono, several undecorated hairpins to keep h/c hair in proper style and black shoes Y/n liked to wear looked pretty modest but decent though. Akihana wasn't a rich dynasty and was living pretty frugally on the north of Konohagakure, avoiding politics but pursuing education and humanism. The Akihanas weren't famous and powerful like Uchihas or Senjus but they were pretty good teachers, office workers and social assistants.
- Are you ready, Y/n? - Yukine asked her daughter, knocking at the door leading in her bedroom.
- Yes, mom. - the girl sighed and put on her only trousseau - a pair of silver feather-shaped earrings, which has been passed down among the Akihanas' women for eleven decades. Y/n wasn't allowed to touch these earrings before her wedding but the day'd come and she had to use the cherished legacy...
She glanced at her room for the last time, trying to memorize every simple detail. Three bookshelves, a bed, a wooden desk and a window with the view to the Valley of the End she used to hear tales about... She used to run off to this valley in her childhood because it was mysterious and beautiful like the novels Y/n devoted her leisure time to.
Trying to keep the tears from streaming down her cheeks, the girl left her room. Her e/c eyes became darker because of sadness and fear Y/n had to contain inside. Everything was unusually quiet: her parents had already dressed up and were waiting for their savior to come out.
- You are beautiful, my girl... - Yukine rushed to her only child and peppered her cheeks with kisses. To be honest, Y/n'd never seen her mother this emotional but she was ready to understand this sudden display of affection. They both were on the verge of crying: Yukine hid her e/c eyes with heavy, a bit wild dark-blue hair and pulled her cherished daughter to her soft chest.
- Please, forgive me... - Tensei hugged his family and Y/n was sure there were salty drops on his cheeks.
- I've forgiven but I'm not gonna forget you... Mom... Dad... - the bride weakly sobbed and faked a smile. - I'm not gonna fail you. -. She had to wipe away the tears and went outside with her parents she was to leave behind.
