Making names in a xReader or whatever

Fuck making me choose a nickname. That is so goddamned retarded. You don't make your own fucking nickname, that defeats the fucking purpose. Everytime I read a story that makes you choose the name like

N/N (nickname obviously)
D/N (dad name)
M/N (you get the fucking picture)

I end up getting pissed off. So I just use generic bullshit to try and work around it.

Like the dad is Dan, the mom is Mina, the sister is Susy, the brother is Ben. Et fucking cetera

It's not my fucking job to do that. You write the story, you name the character, the only character I give a fuck about naming, is the reader character. But then they throw in the N/N. So I end up just making it a joke to symbolize my disgust. I name my Cockledongler thusly: Bigdick Mick. Just some dumbass name, for some dumbass lazy crap.

And before anyone gets upset, I am perfectly aware this is something stupid as hell to get upset over. But hey, I'm a cynical asshole who wants to read a story without having to make up thirty goddamn names for a story I'm barely invested in using my own name for.
