It was like any other boring day at Kings Dominion, the only unordinary thing was at lunch, the Dixie mob was glancing and giggling at the 'rats' table.
But there was one rat in particular that they were talking about, y/n y/l/n.

"Um Y/n, it looks like someone's got their eyes on you." Petra laughed looking at the southern blonde girl from across the room.

"Fuck them and all their legacy bullshit" y/n seethed, making Lex laugh really loud, although, he piped down when y/n glared coldly at him.

"You know y/n, there's a new kid starting here." Petra stated, and as if right on cue Billy and the new student walked in, y/n thought she had seen his face before but she couldn't put her finger on it. He had a cut across the bridge of his nose, she couldn't lie he was cute.
Billy and mystery kid came strolling through the crowd all the way to where Petra, Lex and y/n sat. But as Billy sat down with the new kid, Brandy strolled up to their table.

"Hey y/n" she smiled sickly.
"Brandy." Y/n said curtly. "Y'know I just wanted to come over and congratulate you for being the biggest slut in Kings" Brandy insulted menacingly.
But before y/n could come up with a witty response, Brandy picked up a carton of chocolate milk and poured the sticky substance over her head.

Silence settled through the cafeteria as everyones eyes were on y/n and Brandy. Absolute pure hatred and anger rippled throughout y/ns body.
"Well Brandy" y/n began, taking off her black blazer.
"If you think I'm such a slut" she started unbuttoning her white, now stained, dress shirt, "I'll show you a slut" as she took off her chocolate covered shirt she flung it at Brandy's face.

The new rat stared up at her in awe, as she stood there hands on hips looking like a total badass.
However Brandy stood there in embarrassment looking like a complete idiot.

The nazi stomped away filled with anger. By now the canteen fell silent as y/n sat down still half naked, "Woah you're a brave motherfucker y/n" Billy grinned.

"I know" She said proudly, but Petra piped up "You're going to have a target on your back now, dumbass."

Everyone voiced their agreement, y/n sighed looking to her left, only just noticing the new rat beside her.
Clearing her throat she began to say "Hey sorry you had to see that, I guess I didn't make the best first impression, but my name is y/n, you are?"

"I guess I'll have to get used to it, Im-" he was going to introduce himself but he got cut off by Billy.
"He's the guy who burned that orphanage down"
Y/n raised her eyebrow at hearing this, she knew she had seen his face before.

"And does the arsonist have a name" Petra smirked at the question y/n asked.

"Marcus, lovely to make your acquaintance y/n" he said sarcastically.
A couple of minutes passed by and y/n was beginning to get cold and uncomfortable.

Marcus realised how uncomfortable she was so, with a sigh he turned to his right and asked "y/n" He whispered. "Are you cold?" Her head snapped to face Marcus, "No I'm fine." Marcus didn't buy that "Oh come on your shivering."

"You want my blazer" At first she thought he was being sarcastic but then she realised he was being genuine. She hesitated for a moment but "Sure" managed to slip out her mouth.

He began to take off his blazer and softly handed it over to y/n. She grabbed the jacket thanking him while slipping her arms through the oversized jacket, "No problem" he smiled liking how big it looked on her.

Lunch passed and y/n was in her dorm wearing an old (unstained) black shirt. She was contemplating on wether or not to give the blazer back.

Y/n folded the large jacket and strolled through the empty halls of Kings. She quickly went to Billy's dorm and asked where Marcus' dorm room was. After a while she  finally got to his room, she knocked on the door and took a step back, waiting for the door to open, while she had his blazer neatly tucked under her arm. After a couple seconds the door to his dorm swung open, Marcus wasn't wearing a shirt.

"Y/n?" He said, confusion laced with his words. "Hey, I wanted to give this to you" she handed it to him, noticing the little x's that were littered across his chest.
Her eyes must've been lingering for a bit too long on his chest because he said "It's nothing" referring to his scars.

"If you ever want to talk I'm right here" she said slightly worried.
"Tomorrow then?" He asked throwing the blazer on his bed, he just wanted an excuse to see her again.
"Yeah of course." she smiled, happy to talk to him.
