Harry's POV
When I kissed her, I had expected tingles and desire, but in the end I could only describe it as sloppy and wet. I had no intention to come back for another kiss; her tongue was something like a muscular eel worming it's way into my mouth. I only carried on making out with her because of how desperate I was to do something with someone, it had been weeks since I'd gotten any action.
I know it had upset Briar no to see it, but I could hardly understand how that was my fault. It's not like we were together, and the last time I checked we never even get along. She was overreacting, like all girls do, so I wasn't about to run after her. I don't chase girls and I don't do relationships, she knows that.
"Harry?" Niall's voice startled me and I pulled away from Ava quickly. Our lips made a gross smacking noise when we parted and I cringed internally. I had to fight the urge to wipe her thick saliva from around my lips.
"I'm kinda busy, Ni," I replied, trying to detach the girl's legs from around my waist. She pouted like a child and I just rolled my eyes, pushing her into the wall and keeping my arms outstretched on her shoulders so there was some distance between us.
"Just thought you'd like to know me and Bri are going to get pizza," he spoke through the bathroom door which muffled his voice.
I narrowed my eyes and immediately walked over and swung open the door, surprising Niall who was leaning against. He stumbled into my hard just but tried hard to compose himself and pretend like nothing had happened.
"No, you aren't," I told him firmly, crossing my arms over my chest to show him I was serious. He looked me up and down discreetly before choosing to take a step back.
"Yeah we are mate..." he chuckled uncomfortably but I didn't find any of it amusing. Something in me didn't trust Niall. I didn't know what it was, but something about him was suspicious and I didn't want Briar to go out alone with him.
"Fine, I'm coming with," I decided, brushing past his shoulder and leaving Ava alone in the bathroom. I didn't care, she had snuck into this frat house at least twice for each guy in it, she would find her way out.
"What— no you aren't," Niall grabbed my bicep and I turned to face him with my right eyebrow slightly raised.
"Are you going to stop me?" I challenged, feeling much more dominant in this situation due to my size compared to Niall's, but then something in him snapped. His eyes turned dark and his jaw clenched into a tight smile; he looked psychotic and ready to throw hands.
"Fine, we're leaving in ten," he said instead, with that same weird smile, then he walked past me to his room.
I stood still in the hallway for a moment, staring at Niall's door. What the hell was that? That wasn't like him at all, but I chose to ignore it for now and go get ready to leave.
Pushing open the door to my room, I let it swing shut behind me while I moved around the room. I changed my jumper, which had blood stains on the sleeve from the cut on Briar's head, and I went over to get my black North Face.
It looked freezing outside, and I knew Briar wouldn't have been smart enough to buy a rain coat. It was a quick decision, and I wouldn't of done it for anyone else, but I picked up my only coat and didn't put it on. I was going to give it to her, sort of like an unspoken apology for making her mad or whatever.
I walked downstairs confidently, ready to face Briar and hopefully not have enough verbal boxing match, but no one was there. I frowned, looking around the kitchen to make sure their blonde and brunette heads weren't just somewhere I couldn't see, but they were gone.
Dick move, Niall.
I huffed and shrugged my coat on, storming out of the door and into the rain with just my car keys and house keys. I jogged towards the carpark and caught a glimpse of Niall's headlights pulling out of a parking space and speeding off into the darkness. Something wasn't right about this, and I needed to get to Briar before something bad happened.
I unlocked the range rover with a click of a button and slammed my door shut behind me. I shoved the key in the ignition and didn't even bother to do my seatbelt before I reversed out of my parking spot and accelerated. The wheels spun before they finally carried the car forwards at a dangerous speed.
The wind was hitting my face from the smashed window and the rain soaked me in a matter of minutes. I ignored it, determined to catch Niall. I could see his number plate in the distance, and knew he was purposely trying to get away from me. I also noticed that we were headed in the opposite direction than the pizza place, which only added fuel to my fire of anger.
"Where the fuck are you taking her, Niall?" I muttered, my eyes squinting to see through the rain. I didn't take my eyes off of the road when I snatched a pair of black ray-bans out if the glove box and slid them onto my face.
The shaded glasses blocked the rain from blurring my vision, but it also made the night feel much darker and it was significantly harder to see the road. What I was doing was majorly unsafe and it was likely I'd get arrested for it, but I was willing to risk that for Briar.
Fucks sake, didn't I just say I never chased girls? Now I was breaking the law to catch one.
I know this chapter is short, but I wanted to show you all Harry's POV.
