A/N: Chapter three! Going To dedicate this to PurpleNik for adding this to her reading list, Little Gems. Seriously, that means so much to me, its unreal! This chapter's going to be split between the boys. Kaden, then Lucien, then Carlo, then Jacob. Right? On we go! Also, Carlo is four years older than Kaden. Jacob and Kaden are the same age, 17, Carlo is 21, and Lucien in 19. c: Song on the side has nothing to do with the plot, it's just a song she sang in the concert of this chapter (it's not described, but it happens...) picture on the side is of Mei (the girly one) and Esther (the not-so-girly one) they both have the names on, to make it clearer c:
Just a quick thing. I need an editor. Hmm.

I'm such an idiot. Such a goddamn IDIOT.
Mei was-is- dead, and I get up and pretty much ask her twin sister (even though Esther doesn't know Mei and her are related...) to join the band as soon as I found out!?
I'm such an idiot. And as she's probably thinking now, a complete and utter jerk.
"I'd love to." My head span towards her so fast I almost got whiplash.
"Sorry, what?" I double checked. Esther rolled her eyes and repeated her statement, sarcastically slowly. Jacob's jaw dropped and Lucien went into shell shock.
"You...you're serious?" Jacob stuttered, causing Esther to roll her eyes again -she'll probably get stuck like that one day, eyes stuck permanently in that position- and nod. Carlo sauntered in, nibbling on a piece of beef jerky. He looked at us, me being frozen in place, Jacob looking like he'd just saw a ghost and Lucien's eyes bugging out of his head, and raised an eyebrow.
"So...what'd I miss?"

I probably looked like an idiot. Carlo's eyes slowly looked around the room, and when he got to me an amused glint formed in them, and he raised an eyebrow.
"So...what'd I miss?" He asked, plopping down next to Esther on the love seat. She leant over and whispered in his ears and the amused twinkle in his eyes vanished.
"She's dead? Are you like...a replacement Mei? Can they make you do that? They can't make you do that, can they!?" Carlo exploded with questions. Esther looked shocked, but then she rolled her eyes -she does that an awful lot- and replied to each in order.
"Yes, she's dead, unfortunately, no, I'm not a replacement, no, they can't because I'm doing this of my own free will, and you just asked the same question in a different way, Carlo." Said Latino visibly deflated. Jacob walked over and put his arm around Carlo.
"You really want to?" Kaden asked. His amber eyes were shining with what looked like tears. I narrowed my eyes. Kaden doesn't cry. Especially over Mei. He hates Mei. Hated. I mean, the only reason he wanted in on the band was to get famous.
Kaden isn't the nicest person, in case you haven't noticed.

The one thing that was running through my mind was that Mei was dead. I always thought Mei was immortal. She's been in so many accidents, gotten hurt (admittedly by me, sometimes) on so many occasions, been hurt emotionally and physical so often in her life...I never thought she'd just die.
