It happened so fast. One moment she was falling the next she was back on the ground being carried by broad shoulders. The fall had taken more of a toll on her body and now she was unconscious. Loki took her to the infirmary as instructed by Tony. "What was she thinking!" Tony was in a panic and pacing. Bucky was sitting in a corner anger raging inside him, he should have known, he should have paid more attention, he should have not left her alone. They left her alone as Bruce gave her a sedative for her to sleep through the night. They made their way back to the common room and sat. "How did you know she threw herself out the window?" Steve asked Loki who was sitting in a chair away from the group. "She screamed for help." Tony walked over to him in rage "No she did not we all heard nothing" Loki sat still looking out of the window. "Maybe she didn't want you to hear it" he said tone filled with snark. Bucky was now out of his seat and headed for the greasy haired prince "And all of sudden she has a connection with you? She doesn't even know you!" Loki held his cup of tea still hot and continued to look out of the window he saw her fall past not that long ago. "Loki?" Thor asked cautiously. He looked at his brother slight tinge of softness in his eyes and sighed.  "She breached my mind, no one has ever been able to do that. I don't think she did it intentionally." They were sitting as they were now, when she threw herself out the window. One moment Loki was sitting in a chair looking out the window the next he teleported himself out of the building. At first, Thor thought he had fled again, but then he heard his cry for help. "Thor! Help!" He had teleported to Ingrid in flight down and caught her but couldn't teleport both of them back inside safely due to his shackles that limited his power. Thor caught them both in time. Now they all sat staring at the God of mischief and lies wanting answers. "Brother?" He knew there was something else that Loki was not saying. "last night she tried to look into my mind, she thought she had failed but she did not, I was able to scare her enough to stay out of it but she did breach it. when she was falling I heard her, the moments she jumped  there was relief but then somehow and I believe subconsciously she reached out to me." That's when I saw her fly past the window. I am limited on power right now so I had to have your help to get her back inside before we reached the ground." He looked up sheepishly to his brother who was now standing looking down at him. "There is something else isn't there?" Thor asked, Loki stood to face all the avengers that were previously to his  back. "I believe she is bound" Thor's eyes went wide. "What do you mean bound? Like mentally?" Tony asked voice laced with irritation. "No, spellbound." Loki said looking to Thor in response. "Brother are you sure? Spellbinding is a punishment that we have not seen for some time." Loki nodded at his brother and continues "It's a thought that came to me when she followed me and found me in the alley. I was in my Johtun form as I believed she would be unable to touch me in that form but  she is powerful, I can feel the power coming off of her even now as she sleeps. But there is something strange about her power, it's broken and partial,  I believe the binding was not completed or was done in haste." Thor sat trying to process what Loki was saying. "You think she is a Vanir?" Loki looked at Thor puzzled himself. "It makes the most sense as impossible as that is to say." Thor stood again  "But Njord was forbidden from creating any more Vanir, Vanaheim was destroyed, lost to us.  The only three left are Njord, Freya and Frygr. They would not dare defy father." Loki winced slightly at the mention of Odin. "Thor I am unsure and I have only read about the Vanir, I do not possess the knowledge to say for certain." He responded coldly "Then who would know? Your parents?" Tony questioned. Loki turned anger in his eyes. "Odin thinks he knows all but there are things even the all father does not know. My mother was born of witches and she is versed in magic, she is the one who taught me magic but even she does not possess the knowledge needed to answer this question." Tony was going to respond with a smart ass comment but was thrown from his spot as a powerful and bright light appeared between them. Within seconds it was gone and there in its place was a beautiful woman with kind eyes and long blonde hair. "Mother?" Thor questioned. "My sons" the queen of Asgard said.
