The 3 Young people worked hard, to refresh the old farm.
A few weeks ago James, youre best friends boyfriend, found it on the internet.

"Hey, y/n. Could you maybe help me?" Your best friend stood on a ladder, trying to reach something on a shelf. "Yeah sure." You go up to them and hold the shaking, nearly broken ladder. "Got it!" Y/bff/n slowly startet to come down. "What is this?" You point at the book in their hands. "In this, should standt everything about this farm!"
You think its kinda impressive that a farm, decades of Age still has such a book.
"If you want, you can read it."
Your bff lays the book in your hands.
"Yeah.. I could. I mean, you two dont need my help at the moment."

Together you two got outside to see James playing with Lucy, your dog. "I tought you hate dogs?" You said, kind of laughing. "She's just soo cute!"
Your best friend laughs. "OK, c'mon, let's continue with the furniture, James." You nood while looking at the old book in your hands. 'maybe i will find something interesting?'

Together with your dog, you sit on top of the burnt down barn, a bit further in distance of the House. It is your favorite place to watch the sun, forest and animals but also just to listend to the wind. You close your eyes, inhaling the fresh air and the smeel of the burnt down wood. Wondering what may has happend here. Good and bad. You open up your eyes again to see the brown cover of the old book. Curiosity leads you thru the pages as you start to read the entries.

¬¬¬2 hours later¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬

"Y/n! Are u up there?" Your best friend comes up to you, sitting now next to your right side.
"Do.. You guys want to go for a walk? With the dog?"
You ask.
"Of course!" You both jump down, running to James and Lucy. "Since when is the dog with you?" You ask, laying the book on a step infront of the front door. "A while now." You frown but acceptingly nood, grabbing a lead and pinning it at lucys collar. "OK let's go"

"It's getting pretty late, dont you think we should go home?" James sounds scared. You look up into the sky, acknowledging that the moon will rise in a few. "Dont be scared. This dude is not real."
James looks around frightend, grabbing y/bb/n 's hand.

You don't belive what this old man said.

"Over hundrets of years now, lives a man in green clothes, killing. Dont go into this forest when the moon starts to rise! He will find you."

Sure, it sounds scary, but it's impossible to live for over 100 years! James belived it, and y/bff/n did aswell.
" Please, let's just turn around." An annoyed sigh leaves your mouth as you stop walking to look your friends in the eye." Even Lucy is scared.." James said as he pointed to the dog.
He was right. The dog turned around to walk home with unsure whines. "Fiineee" Together you walk back the way. In your mind already planning how to find what you've been looking for.

'i know how I will get y/bff/n to come with me'

|the next day

It am already late, James was with the dog inside of the house and y/bff/N was outside, eating an apple. "Hey" you said nice. "Oh hey, do you need something?" A smile acriss your face, sitting yourself next to your bff. "Soo, you gave me this book right?" You point on the book in your arms. Your friend noods, continiung to eat the apple. "I found out that we have a pice of land in this forest."
They stopp eating to look at you astonishing. "Really?" You nood proudly, hoping James won't hear it. "Wanna check it out? It's not late and we will back soon."
You hope it's gonna be a yes.
"OK, let's go."

"Hey, it's getting dark. We should go home." Your friend stopped walking. Y/bff/n was
right, but you two didnt find your pice of land yet. "Not now. We need to find the willow! Please." You try to do puppy eyes, remembering it always worked! "Fiineee. But then tell me what it looks like." You started to move your mouth but stop the second you looked to your right. It looks like someone was just there. You look again but nothing is there, so you start to talk. "It said, theres a barn with a bunch of cows in this forest. They could still be alive." You look around, realising that the moon already shined. "How?" Your friend didnt notice the time. "Well they have food; the Grass, Water; a little river and a house." The book said, that the last farmer stopped visting after his daughters went missing in here and selled it to us. It's actually not that long ago.

You two continiue to walk but the feeling that someone was watching never vanished. You start to get nervous as y/bff/n turns their head to look at you. "What's wrong?"  You hope they think its still noon, but realisticallyit wouldhave been better if y/bff/n had realized the moon position."I have a wierd feeling.. We should go home. Now!" The eyes of your friend start to scan you before they reach the sky. The fear written all over their face.

"NOW!"

you scream. Both of you start running along the path, back to home but stopp when you see something behind a tree.

"y/bff/n.. Do.. Do you see that?"
