At times knowing the truth is even more painful than having had to live with a lie for years.

"You have to tell her and soon", she said as I paced around the room and she sat on the bed watching me and Donald who was resting his back on the bedroom wall

I called him here because Amelia's birthday is coming soon meaning her wolf traits will be almost impossible to shield, I know Amelia will probably be asleep by now, so I know we're safe to discuss and besides she's a heavy sleeper

"I just can't summon that kind of courage to give her such news. I mean ...", I said unable to finish my statement as my throat went dry even just thinking about it

"You do realize you can't hide it from her for life, she'll soon find out and finding out herself will be more painful than you telling her", Megan stated stopping my pacing by standing in front of me and placing her hands on my shoulders

"You might be right Megan, but I can't reveal the fact that she's a werewolf without revealing how her own people hates her so much and how her dad sacrificed everything just for her", I said as I felt tears welling up in my eyes, threatening to fall out

"What happened that day is no one's fault especially...", she started but I didn't let her finish before interrupting her

"Wrong Megan, who the hell do you take me for ??, a fool !!. Cause am far from that, I wasn't  blind nor deaf, I mean what's so wrong with the Alpha being a female, but just because Dominic desperately wanted the power of being the Alpha of the strongest clan, he planned the whole thing, from the invasion to the disappearance of his own brother", I spat out in anger as Megan took a step away from me

"Enough, you can't keep pushing the blame on him when he did nothing wrong"

"And enough Megan, enough of your stupidity, I mean you can be ignorant but don't be this stupid and stop hiding the mistakes of you damned brother", I fired back immediately

"What mistake exactly are you talking about ??, I mean I do agree that Dominic has always been the black sheep of our clan and always has been greedy for power but what happened that day wasn't his fault, I mean he also lost his wife and kids", she defended again

"And ironically they happen to appear a few years later untouched and claimed to be imprisoned with no evident proof, I mean what lies is that animal feeding you that makes you suddenly see him as an angel"

"You can't prove that Miran, you can't "

"And so can you prove am wrong Megan"

"I think Dominic himself is enough proof"

"You've got to be kidding me, Dominic !!!!, he doesn't even know what truth is and you think he'll be able speak them, don't be fooled just cause he's done a lot for you and your son, I mean when you're no longer useful, he'll discard you like he did his own brother ", I fired back and she looked offended

"Well I guess we don't blame him then, cause Harrison really got useless to us and the clan because he always wanted to do things the right way like he made friends with vampires ... I guess he deserves what he's serving and ...", she got cut short with my fist as I connected my right hand into her face, blood spilling out in the process due to the anger of which I hit her, she looked shock and taken aback
