Umm, I am adam, and yes I am new here, "I said looking at her greens eyes. I could look at them all day. "
"I can help you with your classes if you like, " she said so kindly.
"Oh no, I don't need help, but thank you for requesting," I said knowing I do need help.
"Oh okay, well have a good day." And just like that, she was gone. I was still wondering what happened to her face. But in the end, it wasn't my problem to worry about it.

Aurora pov:
I walked back to my class after talking to the new kid, what was his name.
John .... Mark .... I don't remember. I wasn't focusing on that, I just wanted to get to class. I have a love-hate relationship with the school. I am not a genius. I'm thankful I'm not at home and that's all I care about. For some reason, I can't get that boy out of my mind.

We were taking notes when someone opened the door, it was him.

"Oooh, you must be adam! " the teacher said with excitement.
"Yes ma'am," Adam said calmly.
"Okay good. You're late but it's your first day so it's okay please sit down in an open spot."  The teacher had a happy tone, she absolutely loves to get to new people.

I was looking down at my notebook, in my own world when someone said something. I didn't hear it. "Can I sit here?" Adam said this time closer to my ear I could feel the goosebumps rising on my back and my neck."Oh yeah, I'm sorry. Yeah, you can sit here," I said trying to cover my face with my hair, my face beat red.

"Hey, do you have a pen I can borrow?" Adam said in a whisper.
I turned around to look at him. "Yes, I do here," I give it to him when I go to give him the pen, our hands silently touch. His hands are cold, I decide to ignore it.
Two more minutes before the bell, my hands were hurting from taking notes. I couldn't keep up with the class.
The bell rings. Everyone goes out running.  I take my time, luckily all my classes are close to each other. As I was leaving the room the teacher stops me. "Hey Aurora, can you help Adam get to his other class I would but I have a lot of paper to grade." She said while her eyes were glued to the paper in her hands.  "Yeah, sure." I said, softly.
The walk to the other class was slightly awkward, silent. I could hear the steps of other students, the laughing, and the whispers. "She's so weird," one person said. "Why would the new kid be with her?" Another said.
I try to ignore them. Finally, we get to class with Adam behind me, thinking he would see me I turn around. But of course, he ran into me instead. "I am sorry I wasn't paying attention are you alright?" He said with a sweet voice. "Oh it's okay, and yes I am fine I should have said that I was going to do that, it's my fault." I looked at my feet.

I feel his hand go to my face, his cold soft hand. I look up, "It was not your fault, I wasn't looking and I ran into you," he said in a whisper. I don't know but something about him whispering, makes me feel some kind of way. I get nervous and my face turns red, "mm it's okay ." Not knowing what to say, I kept silent.

The silence is loud, deafening almost. Our eyes are locked. Ruining the moment a teacher decides to walk towards us, we pull apart.

"Okay, class come in and please sit, I need to have a discussion with the new student," My health teacher said with his scary voice. I don't like him he gives creepy vibes. Probably all in my head. "Okay here is the book you need for the class and a notebook always have these tools with you, and if you don't that's detention got it, okay sit down in the last row in the back," the teacher said. I sit in the back due to the teacher giving me this seat, though I had slept once during his class. "Hey I guess we have a lot of classes with each other, " Adam said to me, it made me fake a smile. "Yea I guess so." Adam is nice and all, don't get me wrong, but hasn't he heard the gossip running around like wildfire? Why would he want to talk to me, he should be with the popular kids, It makes me bite my lip in question.

We never talk in this class, we're not allowed to, the teacher just babbles all class. That's why most kids don't like him. I mean even if you were able to talk in his class I wouldn't. No one likes to talk to me and frankly, I could care less, not like I like them back anyway. Everyone is the same, they wear the same things, act the same, talk the same, even walk the same. Everyone wants to fit in, and while that not bad, it's way too repetitive. I guess I stopped caring too much to fit in. I much rather be myself.

Once we get out of class Adam has PE while I have English, he goes the other way. I hate going to it because the girls that take the class make it hell. Emily, Rose, and Claire the most popular girls in the school. I put my head down and walk fast, praying to whoever they will not notice me ."Please, please, please ." I say in my head.

"Hey, where do you think you are going."
