Xherdan Shaqiri is my best friend. Kostas Tsimikas is also Xherdan Shaqiris best friend. Xherdan has been trying for years to set me and Kostas up, but I have always said no. Kostas never rejected though.
Today we were all going out, we were going to eat, only at a fast food restaurant. We arrived and sat down in a booth.
"Let me go order, I'll be back in a second." Xherdan said, leaving Kostas and I alone in the booth.
"Hey." I said.
"Hi, I was wondering...." Kostas started to say until he was rudely interrupted by two girls.
"Omg! You play for that football team right?" One girl said putting her hand on his and leaning over.
"Uh yeah." Kostas replied.
"Omg!! I told you!! Well can I get your number?" The other girl said bumping her friend out the way.
"Sorry ladies but our Kostas here has got a girlfriend." Xherdan interrupted the girls pointing at me.
"Bro, she ain't even that pretty ugh!" The girl said and walked off.
"What the hell Xherdan?! He could of actually got a girlfriend then!" I said with a giggle at the end girlfriend part.
"Oi!" Kostas said with a laugh, kicking me under the table playfully.
"Anyway, what were you saying Kostas before them... girls interrupted?" I asked him.
Kostas shot a quick glance at xherdan, and I caught him nod like agreeing to something, but kon just looked straight down. I was getting embarrassed so I looked down to.
"What he wanted to say was will you go on a date with him." Xherdan said almost shouting.
"Uh, I.." I was about to say.
"I swear to god. I was going to ask but I just got scared. xherdan oh my god."
"Hi, I have your order. " a woman said placing our drinks and food down, with some napkins and cutlery.
We all thanked her and went to eat. Before I ate anything, I went into my bag to look for a pen. I took a napkin and wrote something on the napkin. I then passed it over to Kon.
Kostas's POV
I started eating some fries until i got a note passed to me from y/n. It said:
K , I would Love to Go on a Date with you X
My eyes went really wide. Omg omg omg, I can't believe this. When I looked up to see her she was just chatting away to Xherdan. Typical y/n. Then again, Typical Xherdan.
When I got home, I messaged y/n,

Me: hey, about that date, I was thinking tomorrow night?
Y/N: Yeah, that sounds good to me.
Me: there is one problem tho.
Y/N: What is it?
Me: Could you not tell Xherdan.
Y/N: Yeah ofc I know what he's like 🤣
Me: k ty x
Y/N: np x
WHAT, she sent kisses back?????? Sheeeeesh!!
The next day, I was getting ready for our date. I wore a smart shirt with a black pair of skinny jeans. I told Y/N that I was going to pick her up. So thats where I was going right now.
I knocked on her door, and a tall dark haired man opened the door. I gulped at my first sight of him.
"Can I help you?" He said.
"Is Y/N in?" I asked him, slightly shaking.
"Yes why?" He replied.
"I was told to pick her up from here." I explained. Before he could respond, y/n came running to the door wearing a cute red dress.

"Chris leave it! C'mon let's go." She explained leaving the door.
"Sorry, were are you going dressed like that?" The guy asked.
"I am going on a date, like I said, leave it Chris!!" She repeated herself.
"No, I am not just going to leave it Y/N. And who is this wally anyway?" He said pointing towards me.
"My date Chris! And who gives you the right to call him a Wally." She shouted.
"I thought we had a thing going on here Y/N?!" The guy shouted.
"As if!!! Your just one of my brothers friends. OMG!" She shouted as she grabbed my hand. I walked her to my car and we got in.
I coughed a bit to clear my throat. "Wow." I said. "Oh right, that was Chris he had been staying with me for the last year because he got evicted." She explained to me.
"Oh ok, you look really nice by the way!" I complimented her.
"Thanks, anyway, where are we going?" She asked.
"You'll see."
I drove to a fancy restaurant, I had already booked a table so it was all good. We sat down and started to eat.
Y/ns pov
The day after our date, Xherdan, Kostas and I were all out on a run. Kostas kept looking at me, to be honest i am surprised Xherdan didn't notice.
"Guys ima just get a drink from in here I'll be back in a second." Xherdan said, and he walked into the shop, well we thought he did.
"Hey Y/n, I was thinking, wanna be my girlfriend?" Kostas asked me kind of shly.
I looked around before answering with a slight nod.
"HA I knew it all along!!!!!" Xherdan said from jumping out from a bush.
