Chapter 3

I woke up the next morning and got ready to go.

I headed downstairs.

"Zaynah? What are you doing..?" My mom asked.

"I'm going to work." I answered as if it was obvious.

"Jimin should be here any minute to take you shopping. It's a good thing I caught you in time, dear." She said.

I sighed and then sat down on the couch.

"Go and change out of those clothes and put on something more appealing for your future husband." She told me.

I nodded and then went back upstairs to change. 

I rummaged through my closet and then found anything that I thought would look good on me for the day.

I went back downstairs, sat back down and went on my phone.

I called Hoseok.

"Hello?" He answered from the other end of the line.

"Hey, Hoseok." I replied.

"Where are you? Are you sick?" He asked.

"No, no. It's nothing like that." I reassured him.

"Oh, okay. Then where are you?" He asked again.

"I'm going out today.. With my fiancé." I told him.

"Oh.. So you won't be coming in today?" He asked.

"No, sorry." I apologized.

"No, no! It's fine. We can hang out tomorrow or something though, right?" He asked, hopefully.

"About that.. I don't think we can." I answered, honestly.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because.. I'm getting married tomorrow." I told him.

I heard him gasp his exaggerated gasp.

"REALLY?!" He asked, shocked and happily.

"Aw! I'm so happy for you, Zaynah. Congratulations!" He said.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come to my wedding-" I was cut off.

"Are you kidding me?! Of course I'll come! Where and at what time?" He asked.

"I'll text you the location and all the other details later." I reassured him.

"Okay. You go and do what you need to do now. I'll call you later. Bye!" 

He hung up. 

I smiled and then heard the doorbell ring.

I got up and opened it.
