Chapter 37

We got to the hospital around 10 minutes later.

I saw Jimin's parents sat in the waiting room, along with Namjoon.

They were all balling their eyes out.

I ran to them and his mother pulled me into her arms.

"Honey.. Thank you so much for coming after all that's happened. We are so sorry!" She cried onto my shoulder as she hugged me.

"It's okay, Auntie.." I whispered with a broken voice.

The doctor came into the room.

"Park Jimin?" He called out.

"Over here!" Namjoon shouted.

"He's in critical condition. He has 26 broken bones, 3 of his blood vessels have burst and he has shards of glass stuck in some of his body parts, including his face and arms." He explained.

I hugged his mother tighter.

"Can we see him?" His father asked.

"Not until after his surgery, no." 

We all nodded as we watched him leave.

--4 Hours Later--

By this time, my parents and Yoongi were here too.

The doctor came back.

We all stood up.

"He's awake. You can all see him one at a time." He told us.

They all turned to look at me.

"You go first, dear." His father told me.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

They all nodded.

"Okay." I said as I turned and followed the doctor to Jimin's room.

I opened the door and went inside.

Jimin was laying down in the hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown, with an oxygen mask on his face.

I sat down beside him and held his hand.

His eyes shot open and landed on me.

He took his oxygen mask off and held my face, then pulled me closer to him.

"Zaynah.. It's really you..?" He whispered with a croaky voice as he caressed my cheek.

A tear rolled down my cheek as I nodded and smiled at him.

"I'm sorry.. Please forgive me.." He stared at me.

There was a long pause.

"I promise.. I won't let anything happen to you ever again. I'll love you like I always have... Just give me a chance-"

I placed my lips onto his.

Once he realized what was happening, he pulled me closer and did the same just as passionately.
