I was lucky Hermione was in my room as she showed me around the Gryffindor corridor and rooms but I also wasn't the luckiest as this girl seem to like to ask a lot of questions especially about my bloodline.

"So you and Blaise do not get along?" She asks again trying to understand "not really I am kind of an outcast in my family" it was true and I wanted Hermione to know that I am not like the others.

I know it was stupid as I know I was going to have to betray her but I have never had a friend.

I wanted to pretend for a little while.. feel what it is like to have friends.

"So do you hate people like me?" she asks me and I tilt my head confused.

"People like you?" I ask "muggle-born" the term sat with me a few seconds as I have heard Draco use this term a lot as well as his father who harsh teachings hated on those with muggle blood. I thought of telling her how once upon a time it was believed that I was half muggle-born and how until the other day I did not even know I was pureblood but I know I couldn't.

If any of these people knew the real reason I was here they would hate me.

"As I said I am kind of an outcast and I don't believe the same things my family believe" which was true growing up being hated taught me a lot about compassion and what it is like to bare that hatred.

"Maybe that is why I am an outcast" I whisper to myself.

"Hm" she said unsure, she could feel like I was hiding something and she was right I was holding a lot back "Sorry it is just rare most purebloods go into Slythrine especially those in families close to the Malfoys" she answers.

"How did you meet Harry anyways?" she asks as another girl walks in.

"Hi" the other girl says walking in with long ginger hair "Weasely?" I ask and she blushed "I am Ginny" she says "everyone can tell by our hair" she frowns picking up a piece of it "It is a beautiful colour" I tell her honestly "like the sun"I add and she smiles sweetly.

Hermoine raises her eyebrow at me for avoiding the question again "I just meet him on the train for a second that's it, I wouldn't even say I meet him I just bumped into him" I finally answer her and she nods accepting that is all she is going to be getting for now.

Ginny gives us both a confused stare but Hermoine gets up "well we need to get ready for the party" she grins and I nod not really thinking I would have much to wear. "My parents sent a lot of clothes this year you can borrow something Ginny" Hermoine offered her and Ginny nodded thanking her.

My mum always spoilt Blaise and herself with her luxury money but for me? Nope, I had whatever she did not want and my mum's fashion sense was never the best.

"Sorry" I say awkwardly walking over to them "would you have a shirt or something I could borrow?" I ask awkwardly. Hermoine and Ginny both look at each other a few seconds surprised but then Hermione grins "sure let's all get ready together"

Hermoine had a red skater dress on with long sleeves, Ginny went for a button-up top with a tank top underneath and leggings. "Here" Hermoine says throwing a white dress at me pulling the last thing out of her suitcase. I was a bit taller than Hermoine so most things came short and Ginny was smaller so everything fit her a bit long but she did not seem to mind but I would rather that than something too short.

I try on the dress and my mouth drops it was not too short on me, it was also long sleeve so I wouldn't need to worry about wearing a jacket "this is beautiful" I gasp looking at myself in the mirror I was never given clothes like this "Surely you get better clothes at home" Ginny says surprised by me falling in love with the dress "not really" I mumble admiring it a little bit more before Hermoine speaks "alright come on guys lets do our hair and stuff before we are late"
