12 -- 𝐌𝐘 𝐖𝐀𝐑!

You scanned the team against you; Barou, Nagi, and Reo. You heard from Isagi that Reo was the type to pass to people, Barou was that guy who thinks he's the most powerful shit in the world, and Nagi, who's meh about things but is still formidable asf. *sigh* And to think I just got past the Zhongli Archon quest 😐

"Eh, they should be no match against Rin individually- hey... why am I thinking about Rin again.." You slapped yourself. "Gotta be on the zone 100000% if I wanna win. Hell, I'm gonna make 'em lose and make Barou feel weak. Once he finds out I'm a lady he'll immediately feel aNgeR that 'a wEaK fEmaLe pEaSaNt' beat him." You said, smirking evilly. Nagi looked at you and raised a brow, honestly finding it weird that you were smirking to yourself. But then again, he always kills any random character whenever he's frustrated or when he doesn't get the character he wants. 

"C'mon y/n!" Isagi called for you. 

"Coming!" You said back, running off to your position. Barou was kicking first so he was in the corner of the field. 

"Gah. Barou's kicking." Chigiri said, kind of disappointed. 

"I said I'd try to handle Barou so you don't need to worry." You patted Chigiri on the back. "Be a man." 

Chigiri side-eyed you. "What if I'm a woman?" You laughed in response. "Then be independent and brave."

"CHIGIRI!" You  passed Chigiri the ball after getting it from Nagi. 

The points were tied at 3-3.

"fuck..." You breathed out. You had been running everywhere since the game started, trying to get your team to score by keeping Barou away from them. 

You saw Barou running towards Chigiri in the corner of your eye and you started running. "Chigiri pass-" But then you noticed Isagi, in the most unnoticed spot behind Barou. 

Chigiri seemed to have gotten your attention and saw where you were looking. 

He passed to Isagi, who ran towards the goal. Halfway through, he passed it to you. You noticed that Barou had almost caught up with you and you passed to Chigiri. 

The three of you kept passing simultaneously. 

You currently had the ball and was ready to score a goal when Nagi appeared in front of you. "Don't try to ignore me in the field." He took the ball from you and passed it to Reo, who ran and passed it to Barou. 

Chigiri tried to catch up and get the ball but no such luck. 

GOAL!!

You frowned. "I guess you guys aren't so weak after all." Was what you said before heading to the locker room for a break.

"New plan. I'll pass between to the two of you so try to keep up with my movements." You told Isagi and Chigiri. 

"So you're basically gonna do what Isagi does?" Chigiri asked, slightly tilting his head. 

"No, not exactly. Isagi is literally a 'shadow' when he's circling you or me. He gives us more options other than to pass. I'm basically gonna be Reo right now. I'll pass between the two of you. And no favorites, I swear! I'm gonna pass to whoever's the most convenient for the situation!" 

Isagi and Chigiri nodded.

You passed it to Chigiri after seeing Barou and Nagi head towards you. "Too fast.." You muttered.

Chigiri passed it to Isagi and he scored a goal. 

GOAL!!

Barou kicked the ball and Nagi caught it. He eyed you and passed it to Reo who passed it to Barou. 

"They're gonna score at this rate." Isagi said, running after them.

"And I'm gonna stop them at this rate." You said, already reaching Barou. You  stole the ball from him and ignoring Nagi and Reo, completely headed for the goal. 

"ISAGI" You passed it to Isagi, whom you knew was somewhere in your weak spot. 

He appeared from behind and caught the ball. And after a while, he passed it to Chigiri, who was about to score when Barou appeared. 

"Dammit." 

Chigiri passed back to you and you scanned the surroundings. You kicked the ball towards the goal as a last resort, despite being in the other side of the field. "Oh my lukewarm gods." You breathed out, upon seeing the ball going past Reo and Barou, then going straight for the goal. 

GOAL!!

"FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE I WANNA SING PASSIONATELY IN FRONT OF PEOPLE!" You yelled. 

"Don't do that you ugly peasant." You heard Barou comment. 

"then be thankful because i'm too tired to do so." 

A hand went to your shoulder and you looked up to see Nagi. "We're teammates now. I'm Nagi Seishiro." 

You smiled, "Haru Katsuki. Pleasure to meet'cha." 

"Nagi..." You saw Reo, looking kind of like he was on the verge of tears. 

"Reo, we'll fight together in the future." Nagi hugged Reo and let go. 

You smiled to Reo, "Sorry for... stealing your boyfriend." Reo blushed. "He's not my-" "Oh shut it." 

Isagi went up to you and hugged you. "We won!" 

"Yeah we did. Now let go you're choking me" You said. You once again smiled and waved to Reo before you remembered something. 

"hey... CHIGIRI??? YOU SAID IF WE WON I COULD BRAID YOUR HAIR? CHIGIRIFSKNSK"

You looked for Chigiri, who popped out from behind you. "Boo." 

"*insert loud, guttural, girly scream* AHDHSHDDSJDS AHSXHKAHSA" 

Chigri chuckled. But then he looked at Reo and Barou. "I hope to see you guys in the next selection."

"Nagi... can I play too?" You asked the boy as he plopped himself on his bed, you following.

"What? You don't have your phone?" Nagi asked. 

"I-I do... but your party..." 

"Ah, you don't have Tartaglia and Ganyu?" 

"Shut up nevermind." 

"Yeah yeah, you can play. I haven't done my daily commisions yet." 

A/N: when I say I struggled writing about a football match, I literally fell down the floor five times, took three breaks, reread Blue Lock, and persuaded my mom not to take my gadget privileges away. I also made a new Genshin Impact account and finished the whole Venti- Dvalin, whatever you call it quest under two hours.
