Class ended shortly after my little episode, much to my pleasure. Taylor arose from his seat, sent me a cheeky wink that caused my to slam into the person in front of me.
"Hey, are you alright?" He asked, obviously trying to stifle a laugh.
"Yeah, I'm fantastic! I have a newfound enjoyment for running into complete strangers" I retaliated with a scour.
"You hilarious. Ready for that lunch date?" He questioned with a smirk.
"Ready as ever..." Taylor took hold of my hand, and we walked into the cafeteria, grimaces were thrown from nearly every girl within a two mile radius. I smiled awkwardly as we approached the "jock table."
"Yo guys! This is Charlotte, she'll be sitting with us today." Taylor casually stared.
"And hopefully for a while" he smoothly whispered into my ear. I ever so cutely giggled, trying to hide my blush adorning my cheeks.
I ate in silence, listening to the juvenile banter amongst the boys. This was better than eating alone in the library, so I didn't complain. When the bell ending lunch rang through the building, Taylor said bye to his friends and walked me to my Chemistry class.
"See you later babe." he ended with the infamous smirk. And to my surprise he boldly planted a kiss on my cheek, a kiss that made my heart speed up in an odd way. Before I could even fathom a response, he was down the hall, with spunk to his step.
