I stayed with with Gandalf for years, and we agreed to never to talk about the incident again and to move forward. I respected his wishes, and with that we got past that rough patch. Still going day by day same routine made 450 years go by fast which made me 567 years old when I decided to make the decision to move out. I felt like I need change and that I didn't need Gandalf anymore, and Gandalf was very understanding of this.

I hesitantly walked out to the front porch to where Gandalf was sitting in a rocking chair with his pipe in his mouth. Gandalf turned his head noticing me holding the front door open, he smiled at me and patted the second rocking chair next him, indicating that I could sit next to him. I sat in the chair not looking at him, feeling tense and Gandalf knew that.

"Talk to me." He said after blowing out smoke from the pipe.

"Talk about what?" I asked, clearly avoiding the subject.

"You have something on your mind Rowena, you cant hide anything from me." He said looking off to the valley hills.

"I-I was thinking about the future, and what comes next for me."

"That is up for you to decide dear."

"Well its that...I think I know what I want to do."

"And that is?"

"I want to move out."

Gandalf paused at looked at me not saying a thing as he put his pipe back in his mouth.

"Its not like I don't want to be with you, I loved living with you and I am forever grateful to you. I just feel that I'm ready to face the world on my own, and that I don't need you to look after me anymore- Why are you smiling at me?" I said worried at why Gandalf hasn't spoken a word to me and is just smiling at me.

"I knew at some point we would have this conversation and you didn't need to be so tense about it." He said letting out smoke again. "I'm happy that you are want to go out on your own, and have your own adventures."

"Really? You aren't mad?"

"Of course not! why would I? Yes I'm going to miss having you here, since I will have no one to banter to, but I can not keep you cooped up here and hide you from the world. You are more than ready to face life on your own."

I smiled at him and he smiled back, for a few moments before the both of us turned to look at the greenery in front of us.

"Have you thought about where you'll be going to?"

"Lake Town."

"Why there?"

"I figured it was similar to Mirkwood, and maybe with some familiarity I could make a home there plus I know someone there that could help me find a home."

That was only a small fraction of truth I told Gandalf, I didnt think he would agree for me to leave if I told him why I was going to Lake Town. Truth was I had been thinking of the bandit I killed and what he told me, It was keeping up at night with his words repeating over and over in my head. I still kept the crest, but I have thought about throwing it way with all the trouble it was giving me, but I didn't if felt wrong.

Eventually It was time for me to leave, I packed majority of my things, thinking that I might return back to that cottage someday. Gandalf provided me a horse for my travels and with one quick look back seeing Gandalf on the porch waving me off I looked forward, to Lake Town. It took me roughly 3 to 4 weeks to arrive to Lake town, and once I arrived everyone stared at me, in curiosity. Something told me that they rarely had visitors, or it was because I was an elf? Ignoring the stares I rode my horse to a near by inn called the "Bee and the Barb" Once there I started looking for anyone that could be Rennir, only problem was I didn't know what he looked like.
