The Titans decided to try and preserve the Egyptian empire but could not and decided to hide their existence and pretend to be mortals in various places and then training metamortals of Transmania as assassins (league of shadows was created)
(basically every time they were killed they were forced into their other form basically Kwami or Renling form but trapped within the jewels and had to obey others command but they could easily transform in that Kwami/ Renling form without the miraculous/ prodigious as a quick get away method)
