"So this is the dorm," I said, looking up at the tall building. Misaki whistled.
"Gravi is on the fourth floor," said Hajime. He and Haru had already set things up before calling over me and Misaki—something about gentlemen not letting girls do manual labour. Oniichan never listens to me.
Haru pulled me upstairs, where we were greeted by Koi and Arata, who appeared to be bickering. Misaki and I shared an amused glance, as Hajime walked over. I knew what was going to happen before it did and I winced.
"Ow!" rang across the room.
"Be quiet, you two!"
Haru laughed and guided me to the living room.
"Misaki-san, your room is with Procellarum."
"Procellarum?" she asked.
"He means us," said a brown-haired boy, walking into the living room. Another five people filed in, as I studied them all. "I'm Kai Fuduki," he nodded to me.
"My name is Yoru Nagatsuki," said a black-haired boy.
"I'm You Haduki," said an orange-haired boy, throwing a hand around Yoru's shoulders.
"Iku Kannaduki," said another brown-haired boy, who appeared to be younger than us.
"Rui Minnaduki," said a green-haired boy, who had a hand on Kai's sleeve.
"The great white Demon King, Shun Shimotsuki," said a white-haired boy, nodding to me with a mysterious smile.
"Shun Shimotsuki?" I asked.
"Normally, people would be wondering about the Demon King part," said You, as I trailed off in my thoughts.
"Shimotsuki-san!" I said, as my memory clicked into place. "You're the one who's been competing for the top position on the National Mock Exams with Hajime and Oniichan!"
Shun smiled.
"National Mock Exams?" asked Yoru, tilting his head.
"Oniichan?" asked Kai, looking at Haru.
"Top position?" asked You, who was just being downright nasty.
"You!" said Yoru, looking horrified.
I looked to Kai–deciding his question was the only one worth answering–and gestured to Haru. "I'm Reika Yayoi. I'm adopted."
Haru ruffled my hair.
"Misaki Saeko," said Misaki, looking around at everyone.
"Kai, take Misaki with you downstairs and help her get comfortable," said Hajime, who appeared to have returned from lecturing Arata and Koi.
"You can leave that to me!"
Misaki waved her goodbye to me and followed Kai, who had already engaged her in a conversation.
"Well then princess, we'll be taking our leave as well," Shun said, nodding as he walked away.
"He's kidding about the Demon King thing, right?" I asked, looking to Haru.
"Well, who knows," said Haru, looking to Hajime, who stared back. I recognized this as their silent communication skill, and waited patiently.
"I'll take you to your room, Reika," said Haru. I nodded, and followed him down the corridor.
"What's this about Procellarum? Were they formed along with you?"
"Our sibling group," said Haru, "They're... quite interesting."
