Things had changed in these last years, Thomas was four years old, Maddie was 7 and the twins had just turned eleven years old, Cheryl and Toni had managed very well with their four children, a dog and work, they had not thought about the possibility of expanding the family until ...

-I want a sibling, I want a sibling!.-said Thomas one day making Cheryl and Toni look confused

-You have Jason, Beatrice and Maddie.-said Cheryl giggling

"No, I want a little sister." he insisted, frowning and crossing his arms, Cheryl and Toni looked at each other seriously. "I want to take care of her and protect her." Thomas said seriously

That same day Cheryl and Toni had a conversation about the subject

-I don´t know, babe. He may say it now and then change his mind, it may just be a whim

-He seems very convinced.-said the redhead

-What do you think if ... we wait a bit, maybe he has seen it somewhere and then he forgets

 -But Beatrice and Jason are older, more aware and Maddie is seven years old but she does more and more things by herself, it's not that we have to be behind them all the time, maybe it's not so bad.- Toni said gently lifting slightly your shoulders
