Prologue

"WE DECLARE A WAR!!"

An army of thousands had almost had the Castle's door down. Insides already decorated with shatters of glass. Arrows had been decorated at almost at every corner too. Screams of locals could not be missed.

"Min save my son!!"

"Calm down, honey, we're preparing for an answer."

Setting his armour for the last time, King Min takes a last glance at his wife's fragile figure already in a frantic mess,
"NO!!"

"I don't want no war!"

"But-"

"What decorates my son's delicate face isn't already enough for you?"

"Min Younhee."
With a stern voice of the King's, the roaring silence again engulfs them in a terrifying air.

"I shall take my leave now, you should pray for your king's well being in the battleground."

Before the king could reach for the door, it opens on its own by a figure almost crashing on to the floor.

"Messenger Lee-"

"Your Majesty, the Kims have proposed an offer!!"

"What? What is it?"

The messenger bows at this king, before speaking,
"Your Majesty, they can offer help and most probably also prevent any war but-"

"But what?"

"Your Majesty...."

"Do you think we have time, Lee!?"

"M-My King, they have asked for your most precious possession."

"What is it, Lee, don't beat around the bush-"

"P-Princess Min Y/n..."

Upon hearing his words, in a swift movement the King had his sword on the neck of his messenger,
"LEE-"

The woman from behind runs to the scene,
"My King..."
Holding onto his arm, she stops any blood shed.

"My King, let's think-"

"How could you, Min Younhee!"
The swords edge now rests on the woman's neck.

A tear trickles down the woman's already red face, her hands enveloping her King's big ones placed on the hilt of the same sword,
"My K-King..."

"Prepare for a war, Messenger Lee!"

But the woman still doesn't let go of her King's hands. With the tears still pouring out of her now closed lids, she dare speaks again,
"You step out of here over my blood, my King."
