(Caroline's POV)

Drive, drive, she told herself as she got in my car. As she started the car, her hands started to shake. She felt sweat on her forehead as she drove. The roads were starting to become a blur between her terrfied eyes. She blinked twice trying to get her tears to disappear. All of a sudden, she sees a face. She can't quite identify it, but what from she can see is a face burning up with flames. She pulls back trying to get away from this face as it comes closer.

"Too pretty for your own good. That's why you destroy everything you touch like me!" The voice taunted over and over.

"Too pretty for your own good. That's why you destroy everything you touch like me!"The face roared making her hair blow everywhere now. She looked around, her eyes were full of terror. She lost control of the wheel as her hands were empowered by some heavy force. All of a sudden the face  disappears, but then came towards her. She screamed at the fire between her eyes, she sat there wanting to escape.

"Oh god," She panted feeling a bit relieved that he left. "It wasn't my fault that he didn't cherish me. It was his fault that he died and didn't fight throught it. Still, I had to show him, show him that I'm not a piece of shit that you can just throw away and buy me things that are worth less than me."

She felt her legs also starting to shake now which made the pedals go full speed. She tried to get the weight off of it, but it was stuck. It kept going, she could feel an urge that someone was holding her life.

A car's headlights started to take over when she passed through it.  Her car started to make a roaring sound. At first, she thought it was Devon coming back, but this time it wasn't. She looked steady at the gas meter and it's stick kept going back and forth until it finally stopped at zero. She looked behind her and I saw the car that was by luck that didn't hit her was smashed into a tree. It's wipers were going back and forth while the sound of the horn was filling the midnight sky with the gray, smokey air that came from the dashboard. She suddenly rushed out the car and rushed over there.

She glared at the body that was on the floor. Blood was scattered all around it. It flowed like a stream from the body to her feet. She examined the body. It was a built heavy man around that was forty-nine. His face was hard structured with his jaw closed. He had thin chapped lips that were sealed shut. His hair was gray with a bit of black high lights and it was combed back and part sided in the front. He also wore a grey suit that was now covered in blood along with his dress black shoes.

She looked at the car door it was open and it seemed as if he was saving himself by jumping out. She looked at it and it was a grey Sudan. She looking around and saw a brown colored wallet and a phone a few inches away from him.

'I could probably use this.' She thought to herself as she picked up the wallet that had some blood stains on it.

"Nicholas, Nicholas," A voice screamed into the phone which startled her.She glimpsed at the phone and walked over to it and picked it up.

"I'm sorry, but you're husband his dead." She answered in a dark voice leaving the astrange wife worried and shut the phone off.

She breathed in sucking the air of smoke and looked around. She was impatient, she knew she had to run. Run away from here, she couldn't go to jail, she has to leave, but where?
