The Emerald Archer

Ch 22

Eraserhead along with Green Arrow were jumping from rooftop to rooftop heading in the direction that the signal from the tracker that Green Arrow had placed on the Dark Archer was at.

Eraserhead: so do we have a plan?

GA: yeah capture the Dark Archer.

Eraserhead was a little annoyed by Green Arrow's response but quickly got over it because they had a job to do.

Eraserhead: I meant do we have a plan to capture the Dark Archer?

GA: I know, I knew what you meant the whole time and no I don't have a plan. I figured you would come up with a plan for us.

Eraserhead: I'll think of something.

The rest of there little trip was pretty much silent with Green Arrow only talking when he was giving directions on where they needed to go. The two of them eventually stopped, landing a building that was across from an abandoned warehouse.

Eraserhead: is this the place?

GA: yup, the signal from the tracker is coming from inside the warehouse.

Eraserhead: ok.

GA: so do we have a plan?

Eraserhead: split up and find the Dark Archer, when we do the other will come and aid in the fight so that we take the villain down together.

GA: that's not much of a plan, I figured that you would come up with a better one.

Eraserhead: it's all that I could think of on the fly.

GA: well there's no complaints here, the plane works for me.

Eraserhead: good, now I'll go in from the side entrance while you go in from the back.

GA: got it.

With that the two of them jumped off of the building they were on and went down to the warehouse below. Green Arrow made it to the back of the warehouse but quickly noticed that there was no door that he could us to get inside.

GA mind: damn it! Ok now what?

Green Arrow began to look around and that is when he noticed that the was a window that he could us as an entrance. Preparing his grappling arrow as the window was up towards the top of the warehouse, Green Arrow then shot a line up towards the window. He quickly began to climb reaching the window in no time. Once at the window though when he tried to open it he quickly found out that it was locked.

GA mind: locked from the inside. Damn you theft prevention windows.

Green Arrow then pulled out one of his regular arrows and began to use the tip of the arrow head to cut a whole in the glass. Eventually getting threw Green Arrow was then able to get his hand inside and unlock the window. Finally getting into the warehouse he dropped down from the window back to the ground using his grappling arrow to slow his descent.

GA mind: man am I good or what.

Now that he was inside Green Arrow began to search the warehouse. Since he had the tracker Green Arrow was still trying to follow the signal but he did take it slow as to not fall into a trap. As he was following the signal Green Arrow came to an open area in the warehouse. In that open area was a single chair. Green Arrow thought to himself in a sarcastic tone.

GA mind: well this definitely isn't a trap.

Green Arrow then began to walk towards the chair in the middle of the open area ready for what ever may happen.

GA mind: might as well spring this trap so that we can go ahead and get this over with.

Green Arrow got to the chair and when he did sitting on the seat was the little tracking device that he had put on the Dark Archer. Green Arrow went to grab the tracking device but as soon as he did the Dark Archer came swing in and went to kick him. Green Arrow saw this and managed to get his hands up just in time to block the incoming attack. The momentum from the swing and the force of the kick combined was still enough to knock Green Arrow off of his feet though. Green Arrow fell on his back but he used the momentum from the fall to quickly shoulder roll backwards and got back to his feet. Once on his feet he didn't get much time to breath as the Dark Archer was already right on him throwing attack after attack at him. At the moment all that Green Arrow could really do was block the attacks and keep them from landing. One of the Dark Archer's attacks did land however. The villain managed to land a close hook to Green Arrow's face causing him to turn. Green Arrow wasn't defeated yet though as he used the momentum of his body turning to the side to preform a jumping spin hook kick hitting the Dark Archer in the face. Both archers then hit the ground at the same time with Green Arrow being the first to try and get up.
