"Alexis? Was that acting up just like before?" Nico asked caringly. "How are you feeling now?"
Alexis sat up from the bed. If her life was a movie, she would be in the school's sickbay at this point. But as much as she wished it was, it wasn't. Alexis was at Daryl's house.
"What the hell, Nico!? Why am I here? Did anyone found out about that? Oh my god, what do I do??" Alexis demanded for answers, her voice still shaking.
"Chill, babe," Nico replied camly, he was already used to her sudden emotional outbursts by now. "Darly was sent to bring you to the sickbay but he brought you here instead. Since his house was just beside our school and also because I told him about your condition. I requested for him to do this if something happened."
"WHAT? HIS HOUSE?" Although he was attractive and all, well, she still didn't like it. Her secret was a secret. It was very important to her. Alexis' anger was interrupted by a louder slam from the door.
Daryl walked in and threw Alexis a stern glare which was about to drill a hole in her head. "Next time, take care of your own woman," he smirked. "I don't want to be bothered by a new student."
Alexis kept silent. So did Nico.

Daryl had left. Alexis stood up, trying hard to balance herself. She slipped into her black high top converse and pulled her hair back into a pony tail so that it would get out of her face. Alexis threw on her favourite cardigan and was ready to leave when Nico held her by her wrist. He tightened his grip as he insisted for her to stay longer.
"You should rest for another day. I would tell Amanda that something cropped up at home and you have to leave," he suggested. "You don't want anyone to question you about that, do you?"
Understanding what Nico meant by "that", Alexis began to feel anger rushing up her head and her ears felt burning hot. "Nico, it's enough. You don't have to care about whether I'm dead or alive. I will take care of it myself and I'm already mad that you told Daryl about me. How could you? I don't even know him!" Alexis ranted, she wasn't like herself. "I don't want to be controlled anymore, Nico. Not by the past and definitely not by you. You know I've been controlled by those shitty memories for half of my life!"
"Sorry, I thought I was helping," Nico replied, his head hanging low. "I didn't tell him everything about your condition though. I knew you wouldn't like that."
He turned off the lights as he left the room.
A gush of guit and regret enveloped Alexis. Why did I do that. Damn it, Alexis. Nico is your only friend and you just ruined everything for yourself.
