~Clara's POV~

I groaned and rolled over in bed, hitting something soft. Wh- What? Where am I? I slowly opened my eyes and was immediately aware of the headache I had and the nausea pooling at the bottom of my stomach. However, those two things were the less of my problems...there was a man, he looked a few years older than me... Wait! Why are we in the same bed?! Oh, don't tell me we did- My dad's gonna kill me! I took some deep breaths and looked at him once more before gently lifting the blankets and sliding my hand down, past his chest and when I reached his abdomen, I gasped. He's so toned...does he work out? He probably does...Damn-

~William's POV~

I felt a soft hand going up and down my stomach, it somehow felt really soothing so I didn't react at first but it quickly changed when I felt the hand venture down further. I snapped my eyes open and to my surprise (or not) I saw the girl from last night: Carla...no, it wasn't that...Claire? No no...Clara! That's it, yea! I cleared my throat and said in my raspy morning voice. "Uhmmm, good morning?"

She gasped and immediately pulled her hand back, covering her reddening face. "Oh god, I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry, I didn't mean to- I- Uh, sorry!"

I chuckled and sat up, placing a hand on her shoulder. "It's alright, no worries. How are you feeling?"

She looked at me through the crack of her fingers and sighed. "I'm...I don't know...I- Hold up! Who ARE you?! And where am I?"

I smiled and answered before putting my boxers back on. "Well, first off, I think we should get dressed then we can move on to formalities, yes?"

I heard her hum in agreement and we both got dressed again. After all that, we headed to my kitchen and she sat at the island, laying her head in her arms groaning. I chuckle and quickly grab some painkillers and a cup of water for my new guest. "Low alcohol intolerance, I see?"

She shot an annoyed glare at me before taking the pills without second thought. Very brave of her, I mean, who says I didn't give her expired pills? She must really trust me...either that or the hangover doesn't allow her to worry about such things!

Pills taken and water drank, she sighed and looked up at me before bringing up the topic again. "So? Who are you? I assume we are in your house so that's one question off my checklist..."

I smiled at her and fixed my shirt before presenting myself. "I am William Afton, pleasure to officially meet you...since last night was kinda-"

She cut me off and asked, her tone changing to a worried one. "What happened last night? Did we- Uhm...sleep together?"

"Uuh, it would appear so, yes. By connecting the dots and all the puzzle pieces, I'd safely assume that we did, yes-" I was about to comfort her when she, once again, cut me short.

"Did you use protection?" I was caught off guard as she said it so directly without stuttering. To be honest, I did not recall if I had indeed taken measures and she didn't need an answer as she sighed and broke down crying in front of me, much to my confusion.

"I knew I shouldn't have left home, I knew I shouldn't have gone to the bar, I know I shouldn't have followed you 'cause now we slept together, didn't wear protection and there's a chance I might get pregnant with an unknown man's baby!" She said in between sobs.

"Hey, hey, hey! It's okay! Don't cry, everything will be okay- I'm sure nothing will happen!" I rubbed her back before adding. "Plus, I'm not an unknown man! I've already presented myself and offered to help you last night-"

"Oh, shut it! You probably only offered help so you could get laid! It's all you perverted man do! I might only be 19 but I have some experience in that field, ya know?!" She angrily looked at me before resuming her sobbing.

"W-Wait, you're 19?!" Probably not the wisest thing to say but I couldn't help it-

"Y-Y-Yea...why? How old are you?" She asked, sniffling.

I bit my lip and coughed under my breath. "I'm 23, ahem-"

"WHAT?!" She wails before slamming her head onto the table. Apparently, that doesn't hurt her-

"Clara, please listen to me." I sighed and sat next to her still rubbing her back. "Last night, when I offered to help, I did it because it looked like you needed to get away from everything and I say this from personal experience, I feel like that all the time! It's okay but you look so miserable in that bar and I felt obliged to help, someone as beautiful and unique as you, doesn't deserve that. I know we just met but I somehow feel like it's my job and purpose to make sure you're safe and that no one else hurts you!"

I didn't realize how lame and lovestruck I sounded nor how physically close I had gotten to her in the meantime of my rant. At least, she stopped crying. That's gotta count for something, right? I was expecting her to dismiss my stupid blabbering and just get up and leave or slap me but I wasn't expecting what she did next. In a swift motion, she closed the space between us, our lips connecting once again, we stood there for a little bit before she took in a shaky breathe and hugged me, whispering a soft "Thank You...".
