"I wanna go cliff diving right now!" I broke the kiss because I couldn't contain the thought anymore.
"Is that really what you think about while kissing me?" Liam laughed and kissed my nose. I stood up from his laugh and pulled his hand.
"C'mon, let's go." He stood up and shook off his pants.
"We can't just go cliff diving. Are you crazy?"
"Don't you wanna be? Crazy isn't all that bad. What do we have to lose?" I tried to reason with him. He was always trying to get me to be responsible and mature. But what's the point.
"Uhm, our life!" He exclaimed while taking my shoulders and giving me a small shake.
"Liam, live a little. Do something crazy, take a chance. Just have fun while you can. You're gonna grow up one day and you'll be old. You'll have kids and you won't be able to just get up and go. Just this once, please!" I begged. He didn't say anything. He just watched me with an intent look in his eyes. I'm sure he was deciding whether I need to be put away in a mental hospital.
"Fine. But this is it. And then we're going home and playing a nice safe game of scrabble!" I jumped with excitement. I took his hand and ran. I heard him chuckle under his breathe.
--
"Are you ready?" I asked, taking his hand in mine. He was breathing deeply. I knew he was nervous, his hand was shaking.
"No, I'm scared!" He replied, honestly. I smiled. I'm happy he wasn't afraid to tell me he was afraid.
"I won't let go, I promise." I gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. "On three, okay?" He nodded
"One."
"Two."
"Three."
We jumped. It felt like forever before we finally hit the water. We went plunging into the water. I sat there for a few seconds, just enjoying the water and looking around at all the bubbles. I felt Liam's hand pull me up but I wasn't ready to leave. It was a whole new world down there. I turned to him, he looked scared out of his mind.
I pulled his hand closer, I grabbed his neck and pulled him in. My lips met his and at first he held back. But finally he kissed me back, relaxing his body. Our lips were moving in synchronization. He smiled into the kiss.
I finally felt my lungs burning for air. I pushed up reaching for the surface. I was there in a few seconds.
"See, that wasn't so bad," I told Liam, as I wrapped my legs around his waste.
"You're right, I actually had fun."
"Do you wanna do it again?"
"No," he quickly said, making me laugh. "Once was enough. C'mon, let's get out of here. You're shaking." He was right, it was freezing.
--
"So, scrabble?" He asked, as I plopped on the couch next to him. He had already set the board up while I was showering. I laughed and nodded my head.
We had played scrabble the entire rest of the day. Arguing over little things like whether it was a real word or what we wanted on our pizza. Days like this, I didn't want to end. He wasn't trying to convince me to be with him or trying to sleep with me. Not that he ever pushed me to sleep with him, but we did have sex a lot. It was just nice to have a day where we didn't.
"Liam! Open your door." I heard a familiar Irish voice yell. I couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, don't tell me I'm interrupting something. Allie, what are you doing here?" I laughed even more. He's walked in on a few things before. That's why he always announces himself.
I walked to the door and opened it. He had a case of beer and three other boys standing behind him. Typical Niall. He can't go a night without having a drink. I'm guessing they wanted a boys night. Liam did spend a lot of time with me.
"Should I leave?" I asked them
"No, you can stay. But no freaking out if one of us burps." I couldn't help it, I bursted with laughter. They should know me by now. I wasn't afraid to hang with the guys. They walked passed me, each giving me a sideways hug.
"My girl can hang," Liam wrapped his arms around my waist, defending me.
--
"Ahh, shit. Zombies at your window," I yelled at Zayn. He was never good at keeping his windows blocked. He was the type of player to go off on his own and kick some ass. I ran and shot at them, barricading it back. The other boys were laughing at us. But this is how Zayn and I became friends. We were playing black ops, zombies on live. We didn't know it was the other person. We kicked ass together though so we had to meet in person. We laughed when we found out.
"Allie, you can't complain about my window if you can't even keep yours locked up." He argued
"I probably would have had it if you wouldn't have let yours go." I told him and took a second to punch him. He winced but laughed it off.
"You guys hungry?" Liam stepped in front of the tv, pissing both me an Zayn off. Zayn threw his controller at him, making me laugh. I put my controller to the side and gave up on the game. It wasn't even the farthest we had ever been so it wasn't a big deal.
"C'mon nerd, we have pizza." Harry grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the kitchen. Niall was already working on his third piece, that boy could really eat.
These guys were my best friends, they treated me like I was a normal person. They didn't judge me for what I did. I trusted them with my life.
"Do you guys wanna watch a movie?" Louis asked, while taking a bite of his pizza.
"Sure, let's watch a scary movie!" I said, knowing they all would be up for it. We always ended up watching a scary movie.
So we surrounded Liam's huge tv in his huge living room. His parents were crazy rich.
Louis an Harry were cuddled together on the sofa. Louis hiding his face in Harry's chest. Everyone but them two knew they cared for each other. But they were both afraid to tell the other one. They were also afraid to come out in public because of how judge mental this town really is. None of us ever say anything. We don't want to ruin their friendship.
Zayn and Niall cuddle too, but they just like cuddling. They're not gay. Just best friends.
Andof course, Liam and I are cuddling. Occasionally kissing to let each other know we're still awake. This is how our nights usually end. And I don't mind. I love our group even if its a little dysfunctional.
