At the gala pt2

(I forgot to put 'pt1' on the last chapter but I fixed it. Well, y'all don't wanna read my thoughts.

Henry's POV
"Henry?"

I turn to the familiar voice and see a short haired brunette dressed in a formal uniform. I stand up he's right there. I open my mouth to say something only to be cut off by him lunging at me wrapping his arms around my neck and hiding his face in the crook of it.

Surprised, I stumbled back a little wrapping my arms around his waist burying my face in the base of his neck. Taking in the the cotton candy scent I missed so much letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding. My mind was spinning so much that I almost didn't hear Charles whisper "I missed you." We stayed like that for a few moments.

"Ahem" Ellie basically just said 'I'm still here.'  Setting Charles down I turn to the red head who was scolding Charles. He didn't seem to notice though.

"Uh right. Ellie this is Charles. Charles this is Ellie" I did a quick introduction. Charles finally looked toward Ellie and I could tell he was scared of her. "N-nice to meet y-you" he stuttered. Charles never stuttered, well, he is getting glared down by my friend.

"Ellie" I said giving her a 'stop that right now' look. She stopped and took Charles extended hand. "Ellie Rose." She said coldly Charles however said "Charles Calvin" warmly. "Ellie can you go and get me a drink please" I asked knowing if she stays any longer she'll tear into him. She glanced between me and the pilot "fine" and walked off.

No ones POV
"Well that was awkward" Charles said still watching the red head. He turns to Henry admiring his figure. Henry locked onto Charles as the other reached his eyes. The ex-con was captured by deep emerald eyes the ones he fell for then and is still falling now staring back at him.

Realizing he still has his hand on the pilots waist.

"Well you want something to eat?" Henry asks pulling his hand away knowing if he stayed like that he'd do something embarrassing. "Yeah, starving" Charles answered then his stomach growls. Henry chuckles "well let's go get something"

Talking with Charles was what Henry needed. He really missed that smile and giddiness, the pilots eyes just him in general.

They get some food and sitting down at the table. Chatting "so where did you transfer?" Henry asks "somewhere up north, it was to cold to remember" the brunette says smiling. Henry laughed along and asked after they calm down "So do you have place to stay?"

"Well" Charles played with his food a little "don't tell the general but I was delaid coming in and they gave the place I was looking at to someone else." Charles said

Henry went silent then the pilot quickly added "but don't worry, I'm looking at a few different apartments so its not bad." Henry looked at Charles and says "ya know, if you need a place to stay you could call me"

Charles took a quick bite of food and swallowed "I would have if I didn't replace my phone after it broke." "Ahhhhh okay, well would you like my number?" Henry asked hopeful. The pilot smiled, nodding his head while pulling out his new phone Henry smiled in return a hint of pink dusted his cheeks. Hiding very well.

Galeforce's POV
I watched the young pilot leap into Henry's arms. I just smiled I knew you would find each other.

I mean I love a good party as much as the next person. But the only reason I threw such a big one was to help fix a strong friendship. I may or may not enjoy the attention.

Although, I think I may have started something I know I'm not gonna regret.

Ellie's POV
As much as I've heard from asking around about this Charles. They all say he's a great guy compassionate and loyal as a dog; but why leave all of a sudden. All I got were rumors.

Like,
"I heard Charles yelled at Henry and didn't apologize and they had a fight. So he left" that doesn't really line up with how everyone talks about Charles.

And,
"I thought Henry kicked Charles out for not paying him rent." And you, someone whom I will never meet again, definitely don't know anything. Especially Henry.

And stuff also like,
"Well I think, Charles told Henry he like him and Henry didn't like him back so Charles left to find love again. Only to return one day to his one true love" well I think, you read to many romance novels.

I spent what felt like an hour of asking about this special pilot. Only to hear the same things over and over. He was nice, he didn't treat you unfairly, he would give lifts to those who didn't have transportation, he'd make cookies if anyone felt down. He wasn't snobbish to anyone in a lower rank then him.

This guy is an idol even to commanders and generals. HE'S A PILOT!

I love Henry like a brother and I'll get down to the bottom of this, if I can, so he can have closure. But its starting to look like he would have to receive that from the one who did the damage.

"Who was that?" I ask Henry "One of my ex-partners." I nod then say still looking around the room "Soooo, by the vague description you gave me, I don't see Charles." He sighs and says "It's okay, if Galeforce said I was coming I doubt he'd show up. Besides..." And he was cut off by a soft voice

"Henry?"

I could see the shock in Henry's face as he stands up. Is this the guy? He's so.....child like and......soft.

I was about to introduce myself and be intimidating. Then this guy jumps into Henry's arms like he was starving and Henry was a steak. And Henry hugged back like the other could disappear any minute. It kinda felt like I was the one intruding.

I finally coughed out "Ahem" and then introductions. I don't know what to think about this guy. But I may have my 'I can and will rip you into pieces' face cause Henry sent me to get him a drink when he already had one.

Guess I'll question this guy later

(I really like writing Ellie's and Galeforce's POVs so I'll do more of them. Hopefully ;)
