Being dragged wasn't the best feeling, but it's not one of the worst.
Mark Tuan, the new kid in school, I'm currently letting him take me wherever he's going. Safe, right? Totally not, but he doesn't seem harmless. In fact, his face is kind of.. What would you call it?
Baby face. Yes, his face is kind of baby faced, if that make sense.
"Mark-ssi, where are we going?" I asked. I didn't know wether if he was older than I am, so I just said ssi (mr./miss).
"Don't need to be so formal." He said. "Call me Mark-oppa. And I'm going to get you some flowers"
Flowers, they kind of don't interest me. After you get them, what are you supposed to then? I mean they're all pretty and everything, but are they like just for display?
"Hello? Earth to ChoHee.." Oh yeah, I'm out with someone. I looked at my surroundings, I was obviously in a flower shop. There were many multiple flowers, all different colors. The walls, a beautiful pastel green with a white wall trim.
The front had a big glass window that from the outside you could see all the many colors that the flowers owned.
"Annyeonghaseyo!!" Both Mark and I turned towards the voice. A short old woman came out from the back, holding a vase filled with pink and red roses.
"Ah, just what would you like help with?" her voice so sweet it was kind of creepy.
"Actually, we don't know. It's basically up to her" Mark said as he pointed to me.
I don't even know flowers, apart from the ones that mostly everyone knows. Like roses, peony, tulips, and orchids.
"Hmm?" The florist waited.Instead of answering her, I decided to walk around the shop, looking for something that I might like or interest me. I looked around the whole shop, nothing really stood out to me, until I saw Mark looking at this bouquet of roses and another flower in which I don't know the name of.
I walked towards him and looked over his shoulder.
"I see you like the roses and carnations" the florist said, which scared me. "These two flowers are such a beautiful pair"
Mark and I moved out of the way so she could grab the bouquet. Indeed it was pretty, but I feel that in some spots just needed another smaller flower.
"Ah Miss, can I add another flower to the bouquet?" I asked her. The first time I'm actually going to get flowers for myself, so might as well have it as I want.
"Of course! Of course!" She happily accepted, "what flower would you like that to be?"
What flower? I don't know what flower.
"How about forget-me-nots?" Mark suddenly said after moments of silence.
"Ahh! The blue will be perfect withe the pink carnations and roses!"This guy I just met, bought me flowers and is standing with me outside my apartment door. "Thank you. For the flowers"
"No problem. It was a pleasure to be with you, as a friend... Maybe" he said. I was observing him, he didn't look at me when he said all that. I could only see the side of his face.
"I would just like to ask, why did your choose forget-me-nots?" I was curious. He could've chose baby's breath or azure bluets, but why forget-me-nots?
"I had this special someone, where they're favorite small flower where forget-me-nots and ironically that someone had forgot about me" he explained the reason for the small flowers.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow." I said, unlocking the door to my shared apartment.
"Yeah, I'll see you" he waved and left.
