Jirou

"Midoriya are you okay?"

Jirou's question went unanswered as the green-haired teen stared at Jirou without uttering a word. Jirou didn't know what to do, normally Midoriya would be the one that would offer his help to others most of the time without asking but now he was the one in need of help.

Jirou stepped closer to the boy with her hand stretched out in an attempt to comfort him. But he reacted quickly and smacked her hand away.

Jirou couldn't utter a single word, she just stared at her hand as the teen walked away from her. Once he got to the door, he turned back with a blank expression on his face.

"Sorry, Jirou."

Jirou stood there in the pouring rain with a shocked look on her face. Before this, they barely even held a proper conversation yet this stinging pain that she had wasn't stopping. She slowly grabbed her things and quietly returned to her room with a single thought on her mind. 'His eyes were so dead. It seems like he almost lost his spark.' Jirou thought as she fixed her bag on her shoulder.

'What happened to you?' Jirou thought to herself as she lay on her bed in her black tank top and shorts. Jirou was always the one that would ask for help so she never really had any experience helping others yet she was itching to drag Midoriya out of this void he fell into, as much as Jirou wanted to help she just couldn't figure out what she could do for someone that she barely knew.

Jirou realized that she may have to talk to someone closer to Midoriya in order to figure out why he was out of school and that whole interaction on the roof. Jirou began to go down a mental list of people she knew Midoriya was close with and the list really ended up being Iida, Bakugou, and Uraraka.

Iida wasn't a good option considering his overbearing attitude and the fact that she would get chewed out for being on the roof instead of actually giving her any answers. Bakugou was also not an option, the guy hated Midoriya though recently he's been more chill around Midoriya and even a few classmates either way Jirou still didn't like him so that's a no from her.

Her only option left was Uraraka, they were almost always together whether they were walking back to the dorms or having lunch they were always together so Uraraka was bound to know why he was so sad. Jirou then felt some weight on her eyelids as she laid her head against her purple pillow, 'I'll talk to her tomorrow, once I get some sleep.' Jirou thought as she slowly drifted asleep.

The Next Day

The bell rang letting the class know it was time to go to lunch, Jirou was worried about approaching Uraraka since well they never normally interact with each other unless they were hanging out with all the girls of 1-A. Jirou looked around and found Uraraka talking to Tsuyu while walking through the door to reach the cafeteria before the halls became crowded.

Jirou decided that there was no better time than the present, Jirou walked over to where the two girls stood and tapped Uraraka on the shoulder. "Hey Uraraka, can I talk to you for a sec?" Jirou asked catching the brunette's attention. Though she stayed silent for a bit which honestly scared Jirou because if Uraraka didn't want to help her understand what was going with Midoriya then she would have to talk to the green-haired teen himself and she isn't for that just yet.

"Oh sure." Uraraka answered in her usual bubbly tone but her eyes held a different tone from her voice, it looked like she was annoyed by Jirou's request but Jirou tried her best to shake off the feeling as if it didn't happen. "Asui, you could walk ahead I won't take too long okay?" Uraraka asked the girl that was standing next to her. Asui nodded and made her way to the lunch room with her brown-haired friend.

"Alright, lead the way Jirou!" Uraraka said as Jirou walked out of the doorway and down the empty hallway. Jirou stopped walking after she was sure no one that wouldn't bother them, she took a deep breath and looked the girl in her big warm auburn brown eyes and asked the question that plagued her mind for so long.

"Do you know what's going on with Midoriya?"

Jirou asked the question as flatly as humanly possible without batting an eye, now the part that really worried her, Uraraka's response. The brown-haired girl stood and looked at Jirou with a confused expression.

"Well, like I told everyone else, I'm not too sure why he's not coming to class." Uraraka said without skipping a beat almost like she was programmed to say that. But this answer didn't satisfy Jirou, it felt too flat and almost had of the pervious energy the girl had just moments ago.

"You really don't know? Your friend is currently not coming to class, avoiding any and all contact yet you didn't think to go check on him!?" Jirou asked with slight annoyance and anger evident in her voice. Jirou wasn't one to get angry easily yet now she was almost fuming at Uraraka's response, it seemed her anger was very evident to the girl that was standing in front of her.

"Look Jirou, calm down. I didn't check on Midoriya because I've really busy recently." Uraraka said with a small hint of attitude that was aimed towards the purple-haired girl, Uraraka then turned away from Jirou and began to walk to back they had walked a few moments earlier. "If that's all you wanted to ask then I'll be going then. See ya." Uraraka said as she walked off avoiding anymore potential questions that the other girl may have.

Jirou wasn't even mad anymore, she was just confused at the girl's sudden change in attitude. Jirou looked out the window that she was standing next to leaning her head on the glass and letting out a small sigh. 'I'm gonna have to talk to Midoriya myself huh?' she thought as she picked up her head and made her way to the lunch room.

As she walked away she was so deep in thought that she didn't notice a blonde-haired teen standing around the corner with a scowl on his face.

Midoriya

Midoriya stood in the kitchen after making sure no one was back at the dorms yet. He really didn't want to interact with anyone due to his fear of being a burden to the person if he told them his problems plus he's more unlikely to see her also he can go days without human interaction but not food.

Midoriya quickly grabbed some chips and made the sad journey back to his room to continue his spiral into sadness. Midoriya had made sure that he wouldn't come in contact with anyone yet last night he let his guard down causing him to end up bumping into Jirou, now she's most likely bragging about his shitty appearance to Uraraka and he could bet all his classmates were talking about him.

Midoriya's thought train came to a halt once he got to his dorm door which wasn't a problem, the real problem was that his door was open slightly. He was sure that he closed it but it being slight open worried so he decided to open it, Midoriya as he slowly opened the door to find a blonde-haired teen with piercing red eyes that glared at him the moment he opened the door.

Midoriya wanted to run but Bakugou's glare was burning into his skin at this point so he walked in the room and closed the door behind him and looked back at his childhood friend who was still glaring daggers at him.

"H-Hey Ka-"

Midoriya tried to greet his friend but he was cut off by Bakugou quickly jumping up to his feet to punch the green-haired teen, but the imapct never reached his face but instead his chest. He looked up at his friend who had slight tears in his eyes as he stared at the other teen.

"What the hell do you think you're doing Izuku!?"
