Midoriya was caught off guard by Bakugou calling him by his first name. Midoriya stood there as Bakugou dried his tears with his hand still planted on Midoriya's shoulder, the blonde then began to speak with anger laced in his voice.
"Aren't you supposed to be smart?" He said, causing Midoriya to go visibly stiff. Bakugo's voice was as gruff as always yet there was a soft tone that Midoriya rarely ever heard from the blonde. Bakugou stared at Midoriya, waiting for the green haired teen to answer his question.
"W-What are you saying Ka- Bakugo?" Midoriya asked as the blonde started to tighten his grip on Midoriya's shoulder. Following their fight, both of the teens decided to stop using the nicknames from their childhood so as to not hold on to those memories.
"You think hiding from your problems will make them better? People are worried about you yet here you are sulking." Bakugou said as Midoriya began to grow frustrated at the blonde in front of him, Midoriya's eyes narrowed at the blonde with a look of nervousness that was slowly replaced with a look of anger.
Bakugou saw this and quickly realized that he must tread lightly or else he may end up on the wrong side of an anime music video. Bakugou released his grip on Midoriya's shoulder with an exaggerated sigh.
"Look Nerd, you can talk to me if you need to." Bakugou felt like throwing up as he forced those words to leave his mouth. Bakugou was never one to try and give emotional support, he found it very stressful but he knew that beating Midoriya when he's in a state didn't seem like a win to him.
Midoriya's anger faded from his face as he walked over to his bed with a massive sigh. Midoriya's thoughts were going a mile a minute as Bakugou sat next to him and stared at the wall in front of them. Both teens sat quietly before Midoriya let out a sigh that broke the silence between the two.
"So you ready to talk Nerd?"
"Yeah"
Izuku soon told Bakugou about his break up with Uraraka along with the guilt he felt after it all though he kept him meeting Jirou on the roof unknown. Bakugou finally understood why Round Face was acting like that when she was talking to Ears earlier.
"And that's what happened, I just feel like if I see her I might break down." Midoriya said as a heavy burden on his shoulder felt a tad bit lighter. Bakugou had a small mental debate on whether he should tell Izuku about the conversation between Uraraka and Jirou that he overheard.
"Remember when I said people were worried about you?" Bakugou asked, catching Midoriya's attention. Midoriya would be lying if he didn't say that he didn't want to know who else cared about his time away from class.
He sat back up and slowly nodded his head giving Bakugo the clear to start talking. Bakugou slowly went down the list of classmates that were either worried or asked about him until he finally reached Jirou.
"Oh and Ears too." Bakugou said, ending the list of people. Midoriya was relieved to hear that almost all of his classmates were worried about his well-being and they weren't talking about him behind his back.
"Wait, Jirou was one of them?" Midoriya asked in a surprised tone, Midoriya was sure that he pissed off Jirou when he treated her so badly.
Midoriya felt like an asshole and it really hit him, he was pushing people away when he needed help the most but his moment of realization was cut off when Bakugou spoke up again.
"She was talking to Round Face earlier actually. She sounded pretty pissed at her, she asked about you and I guess she didn't like Round Faces' answer." Bakugou said, watching his words in an attempt to not upset Midoriya in any way.
