Chloe's POV
" come on jack we're going to be late hurry up!" I scream at jack as I unlock the front door. Mom already left early this morning for work so it was just me and jack like always.
" ok ok I am ready" he says as he pulls his backpack up on his shoulders
We walk out of our apartment door and I lock the door. We walk down the long steps of the hallway.
" jack after school I need you to walk to my work and if you have any homework do it at any of the tables and I will get you dinner there too." I tell jack as I unlocked the car doors.
" really again" he says whining while hoping into the car
" yes jack you know mom is trying her best to have extra money around ok and she's doing this for us so be appreciative."
" ok ok I am sorry" he says turning on the music
" it's ok" I say as we pull out of the parking garage
We get to jack's school and I pull up to the front
" ok remember walk to my work be safe and don't do drugs I love you" I say
" chloe I am 10 I don't do drugs and I love you too bye" he says the closing the door and walking up to his friends
I drive to the high school and park my car by Jeremiahs car and walk into the school trying to ignore Tory.
" oh hey Chloe how was your car ride in that dump you call a car" Tory says as he walks up to blocking my locker
" it was pretty good thanks for asking" I say sarcastically
"Just ignore them" Amanda says
"Yeah, you can't let him get the best if you" Taylor repeats after Amanda
"Whats the good is it not fighting back for myself, hes a douche and shouldn't get away with it" I say.
Doves POV
"Dove, it's time to wake up you have school today" Leci says.
"Yeah, I'm awake" I say while takin my white satin eye mask off.
I get out of bed and open my curtains to see an amazing view of Manhattan island out my window.
I walk over to my closet to find an outfit neatly laid out for me on the ottoman.
I grab the sweater and ripped jeans and put it on. I head to the my bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready.
I dry my hands and face to walk over to my vanity. I put some makeup on and curl my hair.
I finish with a little bit of gold jewelry and head to the kitchen.
I sit down. I see a plate full of Belgium waffles with a note by it.
'Sorry we couldn't be there to see you before school, had to fly to D.C. for the Day -mom and Dad'.
I sigh and eat my food. I spoke on wolf the strawberries with my fork and slowly push it into my mouth. I finish the waffles and walk over to my room to grab my backpack and my phone.
I take the elevator down to the main floor and walk out to my car. I put my bag down to drive to school.
Chloe's POV
" yes but he is a powerful douche and he knows how to make someone want to kill them selfs" Amanda says
" whatever I wish he would make himself think that" I say grabbing my books out of my looker
They laugh and then in the distance we see Jeremiah walking down the hallway with his girlfriend and a couple other people
I really don't know why he is friends with us he is really popular but he chooses to hang out with us still. We were all friends in like 4 th grade and then he got hot and a lot of people started to be his friend. His girlfriend is really mean, she is only dating him for his popularity but he can't and he won't ever see that.
" hey guys " he says as he comes up to us
" hey" we say
" we should get to class" Taylor says
" I agree catch ya later" I say as we walk to math
" god I hate that bitch even tho she did not say anything I still hate her" I say as I sit down
" to be honest same" Amanda says
The whole day goes by pretty fast and I usually get out early so I can go to work so I leave school about 2:30 and head to my work as a barista... yay.
Doves POV
I get to school and I see my friends and my boyfriends standing outside waiting for the bell to ring so we can come inside. I run up to Layla, Fallon, Margot, Will, and Lucas.
" hey guys " I say as I go and stand by them
" hey babe" Lucas says as he pulls me into a quick kiss and then lets go be for grabbing hand.
" hey do you have the homework from last night?" Margot asked me
" no I turned it in yesterday why didn't you ask anyone else?" I ask
" I did but you guys are teachers pet and turned your work in yesterday".
"I'm bot a teachers pet" Will yells. "Hell I didnt even do the homework"
"Well sucks to suck" I say laughing at him.
"Shut up miss rich bitch" he jokingly says back.
"Why do you keep calling me that" i say "you've been calling me that since 6th grade"
"I dont know, it just kinda stuck"
"Well im have to get to class early because Mrs. Hemmings wants to yell at me" Layla says while leaving.
"Bye" I say
"God I'm so tired" Fallon says
"Well maybe you should actually learn how to sleep" Lucas says.
"The bells gonna ring in a few minutes" I say "imma head to chem"
"Bye" Lucas says while letting go of my hand.
I walk to my locker to grab my stuff then walk to Mr.Locs class.
I sit down and go on my phone until the bell rings
Chloes POV
When I get to work my boss is angry as always
" chloe why the hell are you late!" He almost screams at me
" because I have his little thing called school" I snap back at him
" hey don't give me sass I can fire you in one second and you dont want that because then you can't pay your bills" he says rudely
Did I forget to tell you that this guy is torys dad so that's why Tory bullies me
" ok sir sorry sir" I say waile passing him and going into the back of the work
I get to the back and put on my apron and then I see Sharon I absolutely love Sharon she is cool old lady and dose not give a shit about this job and the boss is too scared to tell her to get off her ass because she's pretty scary.
" hey darling I thought you weren't ganna show up" she says in her sweet sothern ascent,
" well sadly, I did" I say
" oh what's so sad about working with me " she asked
" it's not you just this job but it's fine" I say with a some what real smile
After about an hour my brother walks in the door with his books in his hand
" hey jack give me one second" I say as I finish this lady's coffee
"Ok" he says as he sits in a chair by the window.
I hand the coffee to a server and walk over to my brother.
"Hey, are you hungry, what do you want to eat" I say to will
"Nah, I'm just going to do some homework"
"Okay, tell me if theres Smith you need" I say while walking away to the counter I continue making coffee and milkshakes. And whatever shit we have on the menu.
Soon enough it's close to closing time and its Sharon's night to close. So I click out and take Jack to the car and we drive home.
"How was school I asked"
"It was fine"
"Ok..."
We get home and we walk upstairs and I help Jack into bed. I walk over to the couch to start homework for math. Well into 10 minutes later I fall asleep.
Doves POV
As soon as I get home from school I go up to my room and sheck my socials for a while. I get a text from lucas.
Lucas: hey babe, I was wondering if you wanted come over tomorrow night. I have found a new movie I think youd like. 😏
Dove: I'd Love to but I have plans with my parents and I cant really miss it.
Lucas: that's fine we can just do it some other time.
Dove: yeah definitely. I'll ttyl 😘

I lay down and decide to take a nap before dinner.
I wake up to noise coming from the kitchen.
Its mom and Leci. I walk to the kitchen to see them both cooking dinner.
"Heyyy Dove" my mom says while walking over to be and giving me a hug.
"Hey mom... wheres Dad"
"He had to go somewhere but he should be back for dinner"
"Oh ok, that's fine, I was just wondering"
" ok well for dinner we are making Fillet mignon"
" can't we have an normal American meal and not a high class meal?" I ask
" dove be greatfull, not everyone gets to have great dinners like we do" my mom says
" ok I am sorry how long till dinner is ready?" I ask
" like another 20 minutes but you could get some homework done in that time " she says
" yeah I guess I could. Call me down when dinner is ready please" I say as I walk back to my room and open up my math book on my desk and do some homework until my mom calls me down I get downstairs and the table is only set for 3 people
" where dad?" I ask
" he has to stay in D.C tonight he has work really early there tomorrow so we thought it would be best if he stayed the night" my mom explains
" oh ok" I say as I sit down at the table poking my food with my fork
" dove don't play with your food" my mom says
" k sorry mom" I say as I cut of the stake and eat it
After dinner is over I feel so tired so I head up to my room to go to Bed and sprisingly I fall asleep really fast
Chloe's POV
This morning my mom had a late shift so she was home in the morning but was very busy
" hey mom " I say as I get my shoes on
" oh hey sweetie can you grab my keys for me please "
" uh yeah ofcourse" I say grabbing her keys and throwing them towards her
" so I was thinking tonight after work we could have a family meal like the ones we had before dad died" I say
" chloe that sounds great but I really have to go I love you bye" she says as the door shuts behind her
Jack comes from his room in a better mood the usually
" well why is someone so happy this morning" I ask him
" oh no reason" he says smiling
" oh really come on spill I won't tell mom" I say wanting to know what's up
" ok fine yesterday I asked this girl Lilly in my class if she would date me and she said yes" he says with the biggest smile on his face
Oh young love
" oh really well tell this Lilly if she ever hurts you she will have to get through me" I say jokingly
He just laughs and we head out the door tordws the car
" ok Jack, mom is picking you up tonight so don't come to my work stay here ok?" I tell him
" ok love you bye" he says as he gets out of the car
I get to school and I hurry to first period because I was running late. I get to class 12 seconds before the bell rings. I sit down and wait for our teacher to speak.
"Everyone start on your review and make sure you check with a partner" he says "the test is tomorrow"
I start aw answering questions. The bell rings eventually and I speed through the day pretty quickly"
Doves POV
I sit at lunch with my friends and I get a text from mom.
Mother: make sure your home by 5. Your father is on his way home and plans are still on for out for dinner tonight .
Dove: yeah sure I'll be there
"Who you texting' layla asked.
"Oh just my mom" I say while putting my phone down on the table"
"Ooooh so interesting tell us more" will mocks
"Will, can you go a day without harassing my girlfriend?" Lucas says almost irritated.
"Wow Lucus, I'm not "HaRaSsInG yOuR gIrLfRiEnD", we do this every day, you dont have to be a dick about it" Will says
"Will will you just be quiet for one day!" Lucus barely yells
"Geez babe, calm down" I say while putting my hand on his arm gesturing for him to stop.
Will is kinda a dick a lot of the time and he gets away with it too and that is what just pisses Lucas off.the day goes by pretty fast as always
When I get home no one is home just. A note that reads
'Dear dove
Me and you father had to leave a bit early but as soon as you get home I need you to get dressed in a nice dress and drive the rosses restaurant in Brooklyn. Love you dove

Great guess I have to drive all the way to Brooklyn tonight so fun
I get to my room and get dressed in a black little dress and curl my hair and get into my car. I start the drive to the one and only Brooklyn
Chloe's POV
Work was not that bad tonight but I did have to close which always sucks but I did and got in my car to go home.
Doves POV
I was in Brooklyn but there was this Electric thing in the middle of the road and another car coming and I could not stop.

On my home there was this wire that looked like electricity coming out of it a car was on the other side going to fast and we were going to pass it at the same time.
