"(Y/N)-channnn!!!!!" I heard someone shouting my name.

I turned backward and saw an all-too-familiar Hinata Shouyou.

"What's up, Shouyou??" I asked, smiling lightly at him.

"Let's go to practice together!!" He grinned.

"Okay." I smiled.

"(Y/N)? Hinata??" Kageyama was there when we stepped in the gym.

Kageyama and I broke up two days ago.

The reason is he said volleyball was more important to him.

All I could do is accept it.

But I was hurted inside. I just want someone beside me.... Someone that loves me and I love him.

Honestly, I thought dating Shouyou would be great too.... He seems like the sweet type, but..... He'll never think about me that way.

"(Y/N)-chan?? Are you alright??" Shouyou asked.

"Ah.... I'm fine! Let's start then??"

"Ah!!! It's so hard acting like everything's normal!!!" I bursted out. Shouyou and I are neighbours. We always walk home together. Whenever I'm tired, Shouyou always offer me a ride on his bike.

"You two just broke up right??" He asked with a strange tone of voice.

"Yup....." I sighed out loud. I'm tired.

"Do you still love him??" He asked.

"I just need him..." I answered. I rested my head on his back. Now he's riding me home on his bike.

"Need??" He turned back to me.

"Yup. I need someone....." I sighed again and looked at him.

"Do you ever felt that you need someone by your side??" I asked him.

"No.... I only need a certain someone...." He spoke with a pink blush tinting his cheeks.

"Oh?? Who's that lucky girl~?" I teased him, but inside I'm dying to know. I'm a little bit jealous inside my heart.

"I-I'll tell you someday.... I guess....."

"Okay~ I'll wait then~"

"Volleyball club party??"

"Yup!! I don't know why, but senpai insisted you to join us!!" Shouyou beamed with happiness.

"Okay. You guys don't really have a party right? What's the occasion??" I asked.

"Y-You'll find out later on...." Shouyou muttered with a cute blush.

"I'll wait then."

I stepped in the volleyball gym. No one's there.

"Shouyou?" I called out.

The gym was dark.

"Anyone's here??" I stepped into the gym to find everyone.

"3! 2! 1!" Someone shouted.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, (Y/N)-CHAN!!!" The whole volleyball team shouted in unison.

The lights were opened. There's a beautiful decorations everywhere in the gym. There's a big letters saying 'Happy Birthday' hanging from the ceiling.

"Thank you! Everyone!!" I grinned and tried to get all of them in a big hug.

"Go for it! Hinata!!" Sawamura-senpai patted Shouyou's back as the orange head stepped forward shyly.

"Shouyou??" He seems strange...

"I love you, (Y/N)-chan!! Will you go out with me?!" He blurted with a totally red face.

"Sure!" I grinned back.

"R-Really?!?!" He asked in disbelief.

"Yup. Why not??" I smiled and stepped closer.

"I'm.... so... happy...."

"Shouyou!!!"

He fainted.
