I'd appreciate if you took the time to read this. There's some important stuff!
As some of you may know, I recently watched Mugen Train, and wow, was it absolutely stunning.
The characters were beautifully portrayed, the sound design was impeccable, and the visuals and fights had me on the edge of my seat.
Plus I cried a lot :')
Suffice to say, it was the perfect thing to get me motivated to write again.
Here are some notes that you should probably know moving forward!

1.
I advise you reread the last couple chapters to refresh your... memory.
(That was unintentional at first, I swear).
Feel free to also ask questions in the comments. I'd be happy to answer them!

This arc will cover Mugen Train, so spoilers for the movie and manga ahead!
After this arc, I will most likely wait for Season 2 of the anime to air before writing again, as the anime adaptation helps a ton with it.
So unfortunately that means a small hiatus; in the meanwhile, I will be writing a Genshin Impact x Reader!

I messed up with the Breath of Snow, so there will be some plot changes to remedy my mistake.
My dumb self forgot Breathing Techniques are all visual. For example, Flame Breathing doesn't actually spawn fire on the sword. The characters can visualize it, but it's not tangible.
I got wayy too carried away with the magic. Since most Breath of Snow techniques actually create ice, they are inherently flawed. I tried to ignore it but it leaves me feeling icky >:O
I do love writing the imagery, so I will be keeping that in. However, I will be implementing some changes in the story to try and stay truer to canon.
The transition may be rough but I hope it will all be well-received!

I'll be rereading and editing "Our Halcyon Days" as necessary.
I am not sure if republishing a chapter will give you guys update notifications, so I'd be glad if someone could let me know!
But yeah rereading some of y'all's comments let's me view my work in a different light and I cringe at some of my older writing :')

Tanjiro has had my heart since I was his age. Now that I'm 18 I want to emphasize that I am simping for my kind and beautiful boy without seggsualizing!
